So now that FD and RO discounts through December 2012 are officially out, hopefully this means February is included in the next round of announcements!!

We got a pinned offer last year for February 2012 and we are hoping for something similar this year. We would rather have the percentage than the FD. Hoping it comes soon. Just got a pin today for through December 2012 so 2013 offers have to be getting close!!

And I'm rooting for Matt Stafford for Superbowl MVP!! Go Lions!!

That's a good question...and no one really knows. It seems to help if you haven't been in a while. Sign up for the Disney DVD and emails.
Also, sometimes you can generate one by playing around with the system...price out some resorts you've never been to.

I've done all of these things (i.e., DVD, email, resort shopped, etc.). But, I have already booked a room. Will the fact that I have already booked a room prevent their system from sending me the ever-elusive PIN?

We went during Pres Week last year, and were able to get in on free dining by arriving the Thursday before (the FD window ended on 2/16 I believe). As long as your check in day is during the window, you'll get it for your whole stay.

Looking for february 9-15 2013 discounts. Have AOA mermaid room for $124 per night so probably won't switch for free dining since we really want to stay there.

Keeping our fingers crossed too!! We are booked at AoA Feb 11-16! Hope to see you there with extra $$$ in our pockets from saving so much money on a WDW discount!

We are looking to go down Feb. 9-16, I am thinking of booking at AoA, but would definitely switch if free dining comes out. If I go ahead and book a package AoA and start making payments, then change resorts to get a discount, do they transfer any money paid already to the new reservation? I didn't know if you had to cancel the package you had and rebook with a new package when changing resorts. I am hoping to start making monthly payments now so I won't have to pay as much at 45 days out, but don't want to if I have to wait for a refund.

I just posted this in the Feb thread and probably should have posted it here instead... Is anyone getting nervous that there will not be FD in Feb.? I know in the past it has been announced in August. I'm sure they must already know what their plans are for the rest of the year. I can't imagine what the hold up is unless there will be no FD.

I can't say that I'm nervous; if we don't get a FD offer during our stay, we'll hope for a room discount instead, and just scale back to a couple of nice dinners during our stay. I believe a lot of folks are getting antsy because in the past two years Disney has released their offers well in advance for the early Jan-Mar time period - but we can't expect that to continue to be the norm. In my opinion - and this isn't against anyone else's expectations - we can't always expect the discounts they offer to continue and/or with the release date schedule we all want.

I am so impatient!! I called yesterday to add a day onto my reservation and the CM told me to keep my eyes peeled cause FD will take alot off my package. That was all I could get out of him...except for my higher balance LOL!
I keep looking at 2011 and 2012 dates and they are bit dif, so there is no telling what 2013 has to offer. Praying and hoping that the last week of Feb is included. It was in 2011 but not 2012. Who knows

It was PERFECT when we were there at the beginning of Feb this year. Not warm enough to get wet except for maybe one day but great for walking. We're going again Feb 2013.

I was told it would be no problem to make changes as long as I'm more than 45 days out. After that, there is a $50 change fee.

FD was announced for our dates last year on 08/24/11. Hopefully something will be announced soon. Maybe they were going to do it last week, but all of the rain from the Hurricane slowed things up.

If they offer FD for AoA/LM that would cinch it for me to book a trip. I think it won't happen but hey a WDW junkie can dream.
