Definitely depends on who you talk to. My second call got me $280 more off the price. I kept asking the first CM if it wasn't a package deal and she said it was room only. I decided to just have my AAA agent call for me the second time. I got 6 nights at POR in Gardenview (standard was not available), 7 day PH and full dining plan. 2 adults, 1 child = $2400. It comes to around $2600 online without dining, so I figured we came about $200 shy of free dining. I'll take it!

Now I gotta add a few ADRs!

You're right. It's been one of those days! This hit at the worst possible time b/c we are also negotiating the sale of our house today. My brain is fried!

I called today about this offer and it was still almost 600.00 more than free dining would be. (I am looking at 2/9-2/15- 2 adults, 2kids, 11 &13) So I asked if there were any free dining pins associated with my name. He hesitated and said- NOT YET. I asked what he meant by that and he said that there is one that is waiting to be released, but could not see when it would be released. Has anyone ever had this experience? Thanks!

I'm not positive on the beginning date - I believe it's Jan 3 but the last day is March 7, 2013

I was on the chat feature with a CM just now asking some questions about packages. I asked her if any free dining would be coming out for February. She told me to check back frequently and I might be surprised very soon. I said, really? I told her I thought the only deal was going to be the stay/play/dine package. She said that Disney loves to spread pixie dust.

So....IF they come out with free dining, we would save another $400. Cool.

But, my question is, why would they offer free dining and the s/p/d package too? Free dining is most like a better deal for most people. Were they maybe testing that package to see the interest? I get so confused with Disney and how they work things. I guess I will believe it when I see it.

What I heard from our TA is that the deal is initially only Visa Card holders, but that it would be released to the public soon.

If it was a pin code, that is something that is attached to a household. It's random.

The Visa Card holder deals are coming out to the general public on Wednesday the 10th.

Yeah, like pp said, it was a pin code that was attached to our household. Nothing to do with Disney Visa. Hopefully, the general public deals will be out soon for you!!

Thanks everyone!!! ... guess our many thousands we have spent still aren't good enough for special codes. They did not even care we are trying to book a Pre-Disney cruise stay.

It's just random. Random to the point that even the magic of the Dis can't figure out the secret algorithm.

People have gone on 1 - 2 trips per year for 10 years and never gotten a code, and people some people who are planning their second trip in 5 years get two. Thankfully there are public discounts (which are usually what the pin codes are anyway, just a bit earlier). Look for some discounts you can use on the 10th
