February 2010

My dates have changed. Going a week earlier then previously posted.
Now going Jan 30-Feb 6th still staying at FWC

thanks for letting me know I'll update it now. It's probably a less busy time as well

By they way.. Thanks so much for doing all this Jordan! 60 days.. I cannot wait!

You're quite welcome.:)

BCV is beautiful! I stayed there for two nights in September and loved it. The pool is awesome and it's a great location! :goodvibes

It's my favorite resort. the location can't be beat if you're an Epcot fan or DHS as well.

My family and I will also be going in February. We leave the 27th of February and stay until March 6th. We are staying at The Boardwalk! It is so nice to be able to come and talk to you all about my trip since no one else in the family knows yet...Its going to be a surprise on Christmas morning!

Yes.

I try and avoid Early Magic Hours or Evening Magic Hours and parks are busier when they open early or stay open later for resort guests. Magic Kingdom evening magic hours are the only ones I'll do because they have most of the park still open so the crowds are dispersed.

I think I posted an itinerary already, but here's a brief summary

2/5-Arrive

2/6-MK all day

2/7-Epcot FW AM/ MK EMH PM

2/8-Free Morning/ Epcot WS PM/Boardwalk

2/9-AK AM/DTD PM

2/10-DHS AM/AK EMH PM (I am only doing this to see AK at night not to ride rides)

2/11-Typhoon Lagoon/DTD PM

2/12-Free day

2/13-Free morning/Epcot WS PM

2/14-MK AM/DTD PM

2/15-Typhoon Lagoon/Hang out at Resort

2/16-DHS AM/Epcot WS PM

2/17-Epcot FW AM/Free night

2/18-Leave for home.

2/18 Arrive - our flight gets in around 1:30 so we'll probably just hang around the resort and go to DTD

2/19 MK all day - Lunch ADR at Liberty Tree Tavern

2/20 Epcot - dinner at Garden Grill

2/21 DHS - Lunch at Sci Fi

2/22 AK - breakfast at Tusker House and we have a late flight home 9:30 pm so we still get a pretty full day!

We'll probably do EMH at the parks that are open late each night. I think Epcot is open late on 2/19 and MK on 2/21. I love MK late at night!

Another DISer I just pass in the night...:sad2:

I arrive late Friday, Feb 5th. I'll be at MK on Saturday, the 6th.

If I'm remembering correctly our roughed out plan is:

2/7 arrive & do DisneyQuest & DTD

2/8 Disney Hollywood Studios (which I can never remember the name of now... will always be MGM to me) with Dinner at SciFi Drive-in. Never eaten there before and while I heard the food is okay, I've always wanted to try it and my friend's never eaten there too so exciting for both of us

2/9 Epcot with a birthday Lunch at Le Celler

2/10 Magic Kingdom with dinner at Liberty Tree Tavern. In all my times going to WDW I've never had a table service meal in the Magic Kingdom! We're also aiming for a rope drop arrival

2/11 Animal Kingdom with Dinner at Epcot (one of the Paris restaurants... always forget which one)

2/12 Leaving :( But I'm planning a return trip in November for a Happy 28th Birthday x2 (and no the birthday is not for twins... 2 of us turn 28 within days of each other) & a First timers trip

Here's my itinerary....always subject to change....:lmao:

2/14- arrive via Amtrak at 1:30pm....Check in at SSR....Dinner at Whispering Canyon- 5pm..probably go to MK

2/15- 9am breakfast at Cape May and 640pm dinner at LeCellier...so I guess its Epcot...son loves Epcot

2/16- 930am at Ohanas and 410pm at Sci Fi....Hollywood Studios Day...got to see Fantasmic.

2/17- 930am at Donalds Safari Breakfast and 530pm at Boma...oh yeah checking out SSR to Kidani so Animal Kingdom made the most sense.

2/18- 830am at 1900 Park Fare and 7pm dinner at Ohana...who knows what we will do. Weather permitting Typhoon Lagoon..

2/19- 805 am at Crystal Palace and 6pm at TRex. Maybe Disney Quest

2/20- 920am at Boma. Checking out and the train leaves at 6:40pm so we will probably park hop.

We WERE going the 2nd week of feb but then I discovered an event we have to attend was on Jan 23rd not Jan 30th so i was able to bump up my dates a week :woohoo:
It also looks like a slower week according to Touringplans :cool1: so i am very excited

Our paths don't cross it looks like although on Monday, the 8th, a bunch of DISers are having dinner at Kouzzina and then maybe a drink at ESPN....

You're gonna have a great time at the BWV
