Oh...oh....oh....I will be taking a friend WHO HAS NEVER BEEN BEFORE!!!! We will be there from Feb.4-10 here is our itinerary:
Arrive n the 4th at Pop
MK- fri. 5th Liberty Tree Tavern
Chef Mickeys sat then off to DTD
Epcot-Sun 7th
DHS- Mon 8th 50's Prime Time
Mk-Tues 9th
AK for a few hours-really late flight out

So fun to take a new person! We'll be there at the roughly the same time!

Tues is my MK day traditionally !! I sure will be on look out for you all !! I plan on making rope drop so will be at buses by 8:15am !! Maybe we will ride in together !!!

I have a quick question for all of you February planners out there. We just returned last week from a stay at AKL. It was our first trip in December, but sadly we got rained out on our Epcot night. We ended up having to cancel our Candelight Processional show and Illuminations.

My DH knew I was bummed, so he suggested that we book a Bounceback for next year( we had a card). This is a HUGE deal because he is not Disney-obsessed like me. Anyway, we got a fantastic rate for the beginning of December 2010 at AKL...yippee!!!

Since we have returned, however, my DH has decided that we really need to switch to February 2011 (due to his work schedule). I really hate to pass up our awesome December rate. The only option would be to book at the regular rate for February and begin the stressful quest for a discount code.

My questions to you February experts are:

1) Would you go ahead and drop the great December BB offer that we have and book for book a room for Feb. 2011

2) Any chance that they would apply our Dec. 2010 BB rate to a room in Feb. 2011...the BB offer technically only goes through 2010?

3) Are discount codes traditionally offered for February?

Any advice would be really appreciated! :

I'm not sure what's going to happen for 2011 but I just received in my email today a PIN code for 30-40% off room rates Jan-Jun. It was good for all but 4 or 5 days in the month of February. I work for AAA and I know that Disney is offering room discounts on Jan and early Feb as well. Can't guarantee you'll get a better deal than what you already have but just know there are discounts available!

I know I got the 5/2 day deal in Feb !!! That is a value I believe the mods and the Dlx were4/3
