Hey all, Heading down the first week of Feb 2005...whats the weather, crowds like at that time?

It's a great time to go!!

We went for about 8 years in a row the first two weeks of February. The crowds are non-existent. There were many times at Epcot where we were the only people on the walkway.

That said, the weather can be tricky. It is usually high teens, but can be as warm as 25 or as cold as 12. The pools are heated so that's not a problem provided you can run fast once you're out of them.

We only had one year where it was quite rainy.

The last time we were there in that month was 2001 and it was very cold the first two days. It went down to 8 at night, but the kids were still in the pool with all the steam coming off of it. The rest of the trip it was at least 20 every day and sunny.

Too us though, the lack of people makes it truly wonderful.

Just have to agree with Susan--Ontario...we've been to WDW 3 of the past 5 years at that time and although the weather has been eratic, the time "not wasted" in line-ups and being packed in with large crowds, more than make up for it. Because it gets dark early, the fireworks tend to be earlier too...which is good for us, as we like to get up and to the parks early morning and head back to the hotel early evening.
