Just returned from the Transatlantic cruise which was great. While onboard we booked this cruise on the Dream. This will be our 10th DCL cruise and the first on another ship besides the Magic. It is also the cruise that makes us Platnium Castaway Club members.

We are looking forward to the new ship and I might even try out the water slide! The big chicken that I am!

BTW... I'm so excited!!! My hubby and I are going to renew our vows on board! Can't wait - although I am a little bummed I'll have to miss part of the day in Nassau... We have been married for 10 years and wanted to do something special to celebrate!

Yeah!!! Booked our second leg for this journey while onboard this week. We were able to get the same room. After this sailing we will be Platinum for the 4/24/11 sailing That is if I don't sneak another cruise in prior. Hmmm my 40th b-day is coming up in November. I am thinking about participating in the FE! Sounds like so much fun and I know DD will love it. I'd like to start planning now. I'm not super crafty, but I think I can create something simple and fun!

Greetings from south of Regina, Gord! We have been booked since day 1 but this is the first I have read this thread. Very funny that someone from MJ will be on our ship (and our deck!). Can't wait to tell my hubby. FYI, I just booked a one way rental with Budget from WDW doubletree to Cape Canaveral for a 23 hour rental and it came to $29.99!! I was shocked so booked it immediately. We don't mind paying extra for the convenience of shuttles, but that was just too cheap to refuse and we want to go to KSC the day before anyway. Looking forward to getting to know our sail-mates. This is our first cruise of any kind and I don't think we could be any more excited!

Hey DeannaMKB, sorry I haven't been on here in awhile and I just read your post this morning. Glad to have you guys on-board! Do you farm in the Milestone area? Who is all in your family? We have 3 kids DD 13, DD 9, DS 5.

Still haven't told Erin yet...but she does know that we have been looking at the cruises. It would be fun if we she forgot about it and we could surprise her at Christmas or something!

Anyone else planning a pre-Disney stay? Sounds like there are a lot of B2B cruisers...I just would hate to be that close and not go to Disney!

We are flying in on Sat. and I think we are going to stay at the Comfort Inn and Suites. With New England weather we figured it would be best to come in the day before.

Yes, we are definitely going to Disney World pre-cruise! We will be there the Monday or Tuesday before and planning on staying Pop!

Evening all!

This past February, I took my niece (16) and nephew (13) on a 4-night on the Wonder. I went to the DVC member gathering and learned that "this same week next year" starts at just xx points. Don't remember now what she said, but it started the wheels turning. I spent the whole ride from the cruise to Beach Club Villas figuring out if the three of us could swing it again next year on the Dream. While we were waiting for our room to bee ready, I suggested that my niece call her parents to see if she and her brother could go again next year. After a much needed nap, I went out on the balcony and called member services. I booked for the "same week next year" and excitedly told the kids when they woke up. All was well until my niece whipped out her cell phone and pointed out that President's Day is a week later next year. ACK! I quickly called member services back and yes I had booked the wrong week. Their version of the same week were the actual dates while I was going by the holiday. We quickly sorted the dates around and now had a few months to pray that the school didn't pull a fast one and change the vacation week.

Their school calendar for 2010-2011 was recently released and it's safe to finally post that we will be joining you all in February! Now to patiently wait for JetBlue to release flights for February.

We are planning to stay at Comfort Inn and Suites too! I think we might be there on Friday and Saturday...still trying to iron out the final plans...
We are category 8B I think...not sure which deck is 9A...that's okay though, doubt we'll be in our room much anyway!

We are on deck 7, mid-ship in an inside room. I don't think we'll be doing any disney days this time, trying to keep the cost down a bit, but you never know.

My husband found another place in Cape Canaveral that I "have" to look into. I really want CIS. Must check priceline tonight.

We should arrive on Sat. around 1:30 and be at the hotel about an hour later. We are flying into Sanford. We did this in Feb. since the airport from home is 20 minutes from our house. Very convenient and we got a great car company in FL. Hopefully going to be finalizing those plans this week!

Our plan is to sleep at our home, go to church and then make it over to Port Canaveral in time for a late lunch on the ship.
