How was universal? And the hard rock? We leave on the 16th for US and HRH! And finally got my cruise documents yesterday!! Can't wait!

I am starting to worry about what to wear! What exactly does DCL mean by a tank top? Do they mean a little camisole/cotton ribbed knit tank top? Do people wear nice dressy not quite a tank top strap but not quite a t-shirt sleeve shirts? Thanks for any help!

Hi all! I will also be on this sailing. I will be travelling with my mom, daughter and son. I would like to join in on the fish extenders, but can't figure out how to add our info. Guess I'm not as clever as i thought! Any help is appreciated! Thanks!:confused3

Universal was good, same as it always was, hard rock live was the hotel, but I've stayed at hotel and like it.

Only 18 days till I cruise the Disney Dream. Going to see the Dream sail out tonight hopefully.

Don't know if anyone was aware but there is a shuttle launch scheduled for Feb. 24 @ 4:50pm. Just in case anyone was going to Kennedy Space Centre when they disembark or for those of us who are staying on-board.

The traffic to the coast will be heavy that day.

Also heard from someone who has been on-board the Dream, that when you get into your room, you need to insert your KTTW card into a slot to get the power to work in your room. It must remain in the slot the entire time in your room or no power! They are used to conserve power.

If the launch date doesn't change (it often does), we are planning on hanging out around there to watch it. We saw a night launch once 1 1/2 years ago I think) and it was really cool. There was a launch scheduled when we were there in October, but it kept getting delayed. Personally I thought it was cool to see the one at night, but feel like I've done it & don't need to do it again. :confused3. The rest of my family doesn't agree with me!

As for the cards with the lights, I saw a few people recommend to bring another card (ie. Kroger card, AAA card...) to use for the lights. Otherwise people kept forgetting their key in the room. Or one person would leave taking the card, and the lights would turn off on everyone in the room.

3 weeks from today!!!!!!

FE ???: for anyone who's doing the FE & hasn't put names down (for adults and/or kids).... Any chance you want to give us the names? I plan on putting tags on them so I know who to deliver to (both which room & which person's pocket). I really don't want to address to: "14 year old DD in room xxxx"! :rotfl2: If not, I'll deal though. thanks!

17 days till I will be cruising, saw the Dream sail out of port yesterday and made me realize, how much I need to cruise again.

Where can you watch the shuttle from? Can you see it from the boat area? We have Disney transport back to hotel, do you think we should try to take a cab so we could hang around and see? Can it be seen from Disneyworld?

I seen a launch a few years ago but I went to the space centre to watch it. it was spectacular!! When I got back to the WDW that evening my wife said she was shopping at downtown disney and seen the shuttle from there. well not necessarily the shuttle itself but the smoke trail for sure, she even got a few pics.

You will easily see it from the ship as you can see the buildings of Kennedy space centre in the distance from the port. I'm sure you will hear the roar of the engines as well. We were 3 miles away when I seen it the first time and the sound of the engines was pretty loud from that distance.
