February 20, 2011 DREAM

Thanks for getting this set up. It looks like you did it correctly. What made you decide to do this for your first cruise?

I am traveling with my sister and her kids. They will be 17 (girl) and two boys, 9 and 12. They love Disney, this coming Feb. we are going to Paris and spending 2 nights at Disneyland Paris.

We went last August, but only to Disneyland for a day visit. This is the first time we will stay there. I like Disneyland Paris, it is small like Disneyland California. Star Tours in French is interesting.

Count me in too!

I'm soooooooooo excited that we were able to book our first Disney cruise. My DH and I have cruised before but this we be the first one for our 2 girls (age 4 1/2 and 7 at time of cruise).

I look forward to chatting with everyone over the next 15 months :)

Our first cruise was on our 25th anniversary and we haven't stopped almost 8 1/2 years later. We were on the Magic in May and are taking our two daughters (they are really princesses) in two weeks on the Wonder. I have always wanted my girls to see the fun that their mom and dad have on Disney. They have been on others but never on Disney. They are all grown up and married and talking about babies now - so we figured we would take them before their are more additions to the family. I have bought all kinds of little Disney things so that they can each have a little "goodie bag."

I am excited about the Dream. We are going to do the B2B. Should be interesting. At least we can call home while back in Canaveral on our cell phones.

That is so sweet! I don't think that anyone is ever to old to catch the disney bug! I can't even imagine how fun this cruise will be! When my son saw the water coaster on the top of the ship his eyes lit up! (So did mine!) I don't think I will tell them for quite some time - I love surprising them!

Hey guys, we're sailing on the 2/20/11 cruise, too. It's part of our B2B that starts on 2/17/11!

It's me, my DH, 2 DS (15&16). We are SO excited for the new ship.

This will be our 4th & 5th Disney cruise. We've done a 3, 4 & 7 night before.

Lot's of chatting to do!!!

Welcome Aboard out thread!

What category is everyone staying in?

We will be in 10a with a 14 and 11 year old! It is our first cruise.

Does anyone have tips for first time cruisers?

Hey all, glad we found you, count us in for 2/20/11, this will be our first B2B (2/2011 - 4 day, 2/24/11 - 3 day) and we are excited. Well DW and I are as we aren't telling the kids for a year or so.

This will be our 4th Disney Cruise and we had a great time getting to know fellow Dis Meets members on our last cruises and I know we are going to have a great 15 months of build up. The pre cruise chat is half the fun for me, we have learned so much, just from being members here, that it has made our past cruises soooo much better.

Looking forward to getting to know you all in the months to come!

Our staterooms are Cat 11 inside adjoining #9021 and 9023

We are presently;

Does anyone have tips for first time cruisers?

There will be plenty of tips from veteran cruisers so if you or anyone have any questions at all, that is why we come here to have fun and learn.

We have been on the 4 day before and one thing is for sure we are going back to Atlantis for a day in their water park, it's amazing! Last time we were there we booked it seperately and have a wonderful time without a lot of money. We simply booked a room for the day and we all got passes into the water park. The room was great for getting ready and storing our stuff for the day. If we had just wanted tickets to the water park itself it would have cost us a lot more.
