Hello Everyone!

We just booked this cruise and are very excited to be joining in on the fun!

About us:

Me: Lee Ann - 5th Disney Cruise
Hubby: Saro - 4th Disney Cruise
Son: Brendan (age 2 during sailing) - 3rd Disney Cruise

We are from Bergen County, NJ and are DVC Members. We are hoping to get onto Castaway Cay this trip as our trip on the Fantasy last Oct missed it (Sandy hit us at sea)!

I'd love to join the FE and will sign up for that after I finish this post! Glad to meet you all!

Who else is going?

I'm so very excited about this. This will be our first cruise ever. It will be my husband and I. We are pretty much "empty nesters". Our kids are grown ups. I booked through a travel agent I found on facebook. We are 59 and 61. Is there a "go to" place for cruise information? Will I be receiving anything from the travel agent or Disney? I feel like I have bits and pieces of everything. Nothing comprehensive. I just put the deposit down. Not using points, but we are DVC members.

For those of you who have gone on this Super Bowl cruise in the past, anyone recall how the water has been in the Bahamas/Castaway Cay this time of year? Do the little kids need short wetsuits or anything because the water temperature is a little cool?

Oh my gosh I didn't think of this! So that's superbowl Sunday?

Welcome aboard to those who have joined since my last posting.
For first time cruisers on DCL, you're going to have a magical
time.

Cheryl & I decided to get together and do the FE's. We agreed the
cut off date would be 2 months before the cruise. 1 month would
give everyone time to rest from the holidays and get ready for the
cruise.

The previous Disney cruise I went on, we gave our group a name.
Since it was near Christmas, we called ourselves "Mickey's Merry Cruisers"
It's up to you...want to remind you it's a week before Valentines Day!

Did anyone come up with ideas for a nickname, or should we be ordinary DCL cruisers? Sure wish I knew how to add a ticker to my signature. 201 more days.

I haven't posted in quite some time, though I did add our cabin to the FE spreadsheet. Loved doing that on the TA sailing we did a few years ago. Though with my daughter going I need to order a new FE, as the one I have only has mine and my husband's names on it.

We haven't told my daughter about the cruise, will just be telling her we are going away and let her see the ship once we get there.

We are DVC members and did use our points. Didn't even think about that being around the time of the Superbowl when I booked.

We just booked our first Disney Cruise. Have cruised many times before,but first with Disney. My husband and I are excited to be taking our little boy who will celebrate his 4th birthday. We would love to do fe. Is it too late to join in?
