February 2, 2014 - Dream

We were on the Fantasy last January. The water at Castaway Cay was cold early in the day. We had wetsuits. In the afternoon we didn't need them at all.

We stayed in the water most of the day!

On the ship the pools felt great! Getting out was cold at time though because of the wind.

For us that live up north (Ohio) the water may feel warm to us. :cool2:

So just curious as far as timing goes.....at what point does someone volunteer to coordinator the fish extender exchange?:wave2: I was reading other posts and facebook pages where they are being organized for dates after our Feb 2014 cruise. I'd volunteer, but am a first time Disney cruiser and not sure I would do it right. Thoughts? Can you tell I'd be excited about a FE exchange? :cheer2:

Fe's are fun. I wouldn't mind making one for my granddaughter and have her put items in:angel: other children's fe's. It gets to be pricey when adults are included daily. :confused3. It's her first cruise and we're also celebrating her birthday.

We are your neighbors to the North... We are coming from Albemarle, NC... 1st ever cruise for us

You guys going on the Feb 2,2014 Dream cruise? We are from SC. I've got family in NC in Shelby up to Gastonia area.

We are in Greenville, Upstate SC. Very cool!

I'm afraid to ask, but...Clemson or Carolina?

Last cruise everywhere we went we saw orange! We are both USC grads.

We even sat down at Palo and was enjoying our view when a table full of orange sat down next to us. We did have some fun ribbing each other though!

Clemson, but I will say we were in WDW the week after thanksgiving last year when Clemson and Carolina played. My husband and I saw a family in USC clothes. We went up to them and congratulated them on their win. They were so shocked cause we had orange on and thought it was nice of us but it was fun learning we were both from SC. I think they were from Lexington come to think of it.

Figures :eek::eek::eek:

You can congratulate us in February too! :woohoo::woohoo:

Yeah, even with Clemson fans, it's fun to meet other people from SC that share a love for Disney.

We will also be setting sail with the rest of you! It is our first cruise for all four of us, and I know my 9 and 6 year old will love the FE's. If someone starts one, please let me know because we would love to participate in that! With this being our first experience I don't know what to expect, and therefore am not probably the most qualified person to try to set this up. Can't wait until February!

I believe somewhere on this board there should be info re: FE's. Have to contact my friend to find out about them, and will fill you in as soon as possible. :wave2:

:yay:

I put in "fish extenders" in the search bar and several threads came. They are interesting to read and you may get the answers you need.

Did a quick count regarding info for fe's ..... As of now there are
13 families
children:
10 girls (including 15 yr old)
2 boys
(6 & 9 yr old- gender not mentioned)
10 adult males
16 adult females
Next thing to do is get names of everyone, & stateroom numbers.
Also have list of ages for children. Another interested in doing the
Fish extenders, I could give you info & ideas.

My parents, 1 adult 74 yrs and 1 adult 70 years, will also be on the cruise with us, and would also want to join in the FE.

I can't wait!!! I have to start working on my FE... And can't wait to get a list of ages so I can start working on gifts!!

 doubt if I would start making gifts yet. Still early regarding gifts as more people will be joining us. Depending upon how many, we may end up splitting into groups. (just a suggestion)
