I spent 7 years in Rochester going to RIT, my husband still works in Rochester. We hope to retire to Florida someday, maybe work at Disney as one of the cute old greeter people for a little extra money.

I worked at Disney for 2 years. (drove the buses out of Magic kingdom)
loved it. they treat you well. money is very poor. fun is great.

Hey guys! I'm hoping to join the 2/2/14 cruise also. We haven't booked yet, because we're just trying to finalize the decision on the time we're going, but its looking like this will be it.
It will be me (27), my daughter (4 at sail), her dad (25) and his mom.
This will be my first Disney trip since I was a kid and our first cruise.
Any tips?
I'm hoping to get set up for the Fish Extenders... It looks SO fun and I have some great ideas already!

The fish extender was one of the highlights for my 7 year old daughter!

My hubby and I have cruised 4 times before, but this is our first Disney cruise! Cannot wait. We have a 3 year old daughter and my parents along with us! We would love to be a part of the fish extender exchange as well. We're from the Midwest and look forward to everything Disney has to offer

I just booked this cruise yesterday for myself, my husband and my daughter who will be 15 when we sail. We aren't telling her that we have booked it, keeping it a surprise. I just hope I don't find a 4 day sailing too short, I usually book a 7 day and my only Disney cruise was a 14 day Trans-Atlantic cruise.

That TA was such a great cruise, but I have wanted to try the Dream or the Fantasy. We are also DVC members so we like to also go to Disney World when we can.

So just curious as far as timing goes.....at what point does someone volunteer to coordinator the fish extender exchange? I was reading other posts and facebook pages where they are being organized for dates after our Feb 2014 cruise. I'd volunteer, but am a first time Disney cruiser and not sure I would do it right. Thoughts? Can you tell I'd be excited about a FE exchange?

On our last cruise (and our first DCL), someone volunteered to do the FE about 3-4 months before the cruise.

We still have plenty of time.

Myself, my mom, & my grandma will be on this cruise! It'll be my fourth cruise, my mom's third, and my grandma's first. We'll be celebrating my grandma's birthday on board as well!

With this being our first experience I don't know what to expect, and therefore am not probably the most qualified person to try to set this up. Can't wait until February!

Who else is going?

Going on my 3rd cruise. My granddaughter and her mom will be joining me on their first cruise. Elyssa will be celebrating her 5th birthday.

I have enjoyed the FE...looked forward to what was in them. Some cruisers really outdid themselves. It would be nice to have them for the children, rather than adults.
I'm looking forward to spending time with my granddaughter and her mom on their first cruise. Hope to meet up with you.

We were on the Fantasy last January. The water at Castaway Cay was cold early in the day. We had wetsuits. In the afternoon we didn't need them at all.

We stayed in the water most of the day!

On the ship the pools felt great! Getting out was cold at time though because of the wind.
