Wow, can't believe there isn't a thread for this cruise yet!

Maybe we'll have the boat to ourselves! Anyway we'll be me (the mom), DD13, and DS11. We also have some friends tagging along (mom, her DD13 and her DD10). This will be our 3rd Disney cruise, but first time on the Magic.

Hello! We are booked for the Feb 18th cruise. My family includes me, DH, DS (4 at time of cruise) and DS (3 at time of cruise). This is our first Disney cruise. My husband and I cruised before the kids (on Celebrity and NCL) but never with Disney or the kids so we are really looking forward to this!

we're not sure yet. My older son (the 3 year old) has seen the videos showing the kids club and was excited about it We might try them for like an hour a day if they really want to. We're traveling with my parents who want to spend time with them so I don't know if they would spend a lot of time there. It looks fun though!

Hi everyone, My family and I just got off the Disney Dream Thursday and we are already ready for the 7 night Magic Cruise. This will be our third Disney Cruise!!! Our first cruise was on the Wonder, then the Dream, and now the Magic--we decided to try all of them out! There are three of us: me(Cindy), dh(Bob), and dd(Ashley, age 11). I look foward to talking to you while we wait for our cruise!!!

I am so excited and I hope time goes by fast.Our last cruise we made lots of new freinds on the dis board.We had lots of laughs making the days go by.

jasec2...my wife and I go back and forth about putting our little one in the clubs.I think we will try short periods of time and see how it goes.

We would be interested in doing an FE exchange. Don't know much about it other than what I have read on these boards but it sounds fun. Cruising will me myself (Jessica) my husband Russell, and our two sons Brayden and Justin who will be 3 and almost 5 at the time of cruising. We are so excited about our first Disney Cruise!!

Hey Jessica,

This cruise will be our third Disney Cruise and we have participated in the FE exchange for both previous cruises. The concept is that you hang a fish extender (which you can make or buy on ebay) hang it from your cabin number and it magically gets filled It is alot of fun coming back to your cabin and finding treats during the day. Although, when we cruised on the Dream in March, my DH and I really got a work out walking up and down the decks!!!

If there is more interest in the future, I would love to do the FE Exchange again!!!! As a matter of fact, I have started buying kids' gifts! It is a sickness I tell you!!

I have been reading through the boards about excursions for the Western Carribbean. I saw one about a great place in Mexico called Xcaret (I think). My concern is about going onto mainland Mexico with everything I have been reading about happening there. Am I being overly concerned?

We are on the cruise as well. This is our second Disney Cruise and we are heading back to all the same ports. Very excited!

Nice to see folks are signing up for this thread! I think an FE exchange would be fun too, though right now I am focused on the exchange for our Alaska cruise in August

SSPowers: since you've done this itinerary before I'd love to hear which excursions you've done, and what you thought of them.

We (me, DH, DD - 9 at time of cruise and, DD2 - 6 at time of cruise) are finally booked for our first Disney cruise!

It is the girls' first time cruising, but DH and I have cruised 3 other times (Carnival and Royal Carribean). I can't wait to experience Disney at sea. I will be pouring over the boards trying to get my list of must haves together

It feels like winter today! 45 degrees and rainy. cannot wait for our cruise! Where in NY? Our oldest will be almost 9 by the cruise. Our girls are Katie and Sarah.

We will also be on this cruise. This is our second time on the Magic for my DH, DD 18 and DS 7 and I. This will be our 20 anniversary cruise. Very excited. The last time we cruised my son was too young for the kids clubs. We are very excited about doing a few grown up things that we missed last time. The last time we cruised we went to a couple of Dismeets...had tea with the ladies at Palo and partied in the Walt Disney Suite which was unbelievable. It was so much fun meeting everyone.
