in Feb.
but...After watching the evening news, flipping from ABC and NBC and their warning about increased airfares-I booked it!![]()
125.00 with taxes one way for each on united. I just hope to be so lucky on a return flight home on either Saturday or Sunday.
I like United as they have a lot of options and flights. I also like flying through dc rather than more northern cities like philly or nyc due to weatherin Feb.
We will arrive just before midnight on Friday February 13th. I am still getting used to the idea of Friday the 13thbut...
we have our outbound tix!
, this is getting scary
. I think we're going to fly in on Fri. & stay @ one of those hotels you told me about near the port. Then fly out on Sat. when we get back!
I can't believe you're headed to the WORLD in a few days
I'm soooo jealous! Where are you staying & for how long? I figure I'll live my life vicariously thru you while you're down there
. Have a GREAT time!
so, I reserved a car for the day total of $32.51
)
You did really greatNext week you will be able to book your trip home. If you watch as soon as the fares come out you should be able to get the same fare for home.
VaVa ,have you seen the Hyatt? How awsome is it that you will just have to go upstairs when you land. I read somewhere on the boards, that they will pick up your luggage & bring it to our rooms. I am going to call & find out.
We have been traveling 2-3 times a year to Orlando for the last 6 years. Most of the times, it is holiday travel which I always book one ways sometimes use different airports. For our trip in 09, will be flying out of Newark with CO & return most likely from LGA New York with Delta. (depending of the fare)
Jodi, try to check the fares every.
We are leaving next week for Disney. Can hardly wait!!!!

just a kayak.com update....
after I posted I went to the site to check it out- only 160 from mco back home on Saturday on united! That means 285 round trip which is excellent for our airport!
Great!!
We are meeting up with our Disney friends, that we met on the Magic in Europe last year. One of them is Ariel in MK.

Did you cruise over Atlantica?![]()
We're going to be waiting for the SWA flights, too. I've got a couple free flights that I'm gonna use.
I'm starting to look at the new bathing suits in catalogs and at stores so I can plan what to buy to put back for the cruise. I figure pickins will be slim (but I won't be) for bathing suits just prior to cruise time. Anyone else plotting out wardrobes?
Kiena
Missy-Welcome to the group! Glad to have you on board! It's our first cruise, too!
We are both excited and I read everything I can get my hands on about cruising. Plus I am a planning nut, but I don't plan down to the last minute. Scrooge McDuck (DH) and I like to take it easy and wing it, especially when it is Disney related.
My DH still keeps saying he thinks it's too long...what a dork

! Glad to hear you will joining the cruise early next year.
I thought I would check united.com for a roundtrip airfare. They started at 340 and up! And we paid a total of 280.00. I would have never thought to try to purchase the flights as one ways- thanks again PURTYPAT1 So my advice is to look at both options, not just round trip.
Ugh! Isn't winter over with yet?
I can't believe your husband thinks 7 nights will be too long!
However, if he is reading this thread and sees our obsessive natures maybe he's just afraid of being stuck onboard with all of us.
...that's allright, they don't want me around anyway...always nagging
Do you guys understand what I'm asking, 'cause I'm confused at this point
You're a mad woman!!
I just got my certificates yesterday...finally. I'm doing to the 1/2 in Jan., love that weekend down there. I'm all Goofied out
Do you run any other races around the year? How 'bout you join our thread over on the WISH boards...we're on the Philadelphia marathon one. I'm toying with the idea of going down for the Expedition Everest Challenge in Sept. Why don't you sign up for the NYC 1/2 or Full & meet me there (if I get in).
