I just looked at the weather on the weather network for the caribbean and for Jan and Feb it shows the same weather 25 C. That doesnt sound too bad!

Julia, the Disney Cruises the 2 weeks before us could not get into Castaway Cay. The Western before ours could not dock (actualy float in position) at Grand Caymen. Last year when we went, all the shore excursions were cancelled in Cozumel........ So Yes a week or 2 could make a big difference. We wont know untill then, its a percentage deal..........kinda like gambling for Sunshine and warm weather.

We have pluses and minuses for each week............ I'll let Laura know that you and Jen wanna talk.................. for me I'm gonna do this

Maybe we need to broaden our Search beyond...... I cant believe I'm saying this....... Disney...and look at other lines. RCCL would be our next option. Big ship like Mariner or Explorer, etc.........

The Cheshire Cat defines me in two ways - I am a wee bit loony and when I am here physically albiet breifly because of my travels, I am not here mentally. While I am sure that others can identify with the Cheshire Cat for the their own reasons, given the limited choices I would expect some avatar overlap.

Regarding the next cruise, is this a sans-kid trip (I recall this was an option)? We are looking into going to Disney World in the fall, so not sure about a Disney Cruise so soon - but that is definitely a question for "the Pants."

Too (two) many late nights!!! Last night was Steph's shin-dig at our son's school - we didn't get home 'til 3:00 AM. The night before my bro and I went out for some music and beverages.

Regarding the next cruise, is this a sans-kid trip (I recall this was an option)? We are looking into going to Disney World in the fall, so not sure about a Disney Cruise so soon - but that is definitely a question for "the Pants."

Joe and I are going without the kids but I think everyone else is bringing theirs. Our girls of course are not happy about this decision but I feel like we need this. After all, we never really had a honeymoom so this could be like a belated honeymoom.

Believe me, I'd rather go Disney than any other cruise line too. I'm just thinking if it's more affordable so that more people can go it would maybe be better. We'll chat more about it later today when you call.

OMG, that was fast!!! When Steph awakes from her comatose state (she is now sleeping soundly after going to bed very late and being up very early) I'll make sure that she gets this.

I'm so sorry to hear this Julia. I was really hoping there would be a way that this would work out for you. And no, there is no budging the dates. Laura is very firm on that and after talking to Mark about it, I totally understand why and I support that. Yes, it would have been wonderful to go on the 4th and save all that money but when it comes down to it, I knew that going with at least Mark and Laura was very important to us.

Of coruse there is the very real possiblity of us having to cancel if I'm pregnant or if it's just too close to my delivery date. (need to have a little time for the baby blubber to go away you know!) Moving to 2 weeks earlier in Feb. just increases the chances of us needing to cancel. I just have to hope and pray that this couple is ready to move on this ASAP or that it takes me a while to get pregnant so I can still go. Oh wouldn't I look loverly all big and pregnant in a swimsuit on the cruise? LOL
