Mark, I was looking on the ships deck plan to see were everyone is logistically to ours, I can not find a 5142 I see a 5042, would that b yours?

LOL I had thought of doing something like that but it's quite a lot of $$$. And of course one of my original thoughts was that it would be a waste of money since it's not like we'd know anyone there so basically we'd be having a party by ourselves. Now it's just too late for that. I'm actually hoping we can do a vow renewal in 3 years for our 15th. We didn't exactly have a dream wedding so I almost feel the need to do it. Here's our goofy wedding story, we were married at the Mall of America! We were supposed to get married Nov. 1992. Decided to delay it a little until July 2003. Well in January, we found out we had a little surprise on the way. So a radio station here was doing a multiple matrimony thing and Joe convinced me to write in. We were one of 92 couples chosen. Not exactly the wedding I'd always wanted but it was free and fast so we did it. Then the bars from the Mall of America sent us to New Orleans overnight during Mardi Gras. I was so sick from being pregnant that it was the worst trip I've ever taken in my life! Despite all that, it's been the 12 happiest years of my life and I wouldn't trade it for anything.

So anyway, there's some useless knowledge about us. Aren't you sorry that you brought up the vow renewal things? LOL

For those of you with school aged kids, how are you handling missed school work? I asked both my girls teachers for work ahead of time. We did that last year too and it wasn't a problem. This year Kaela's teacher just isn't being very helpful! She hasn't gotten a single assignment yet! Beth got tons of her assignments today so we can try to get ahead a little this Of course we have to finish writing her research paper but we're half way done with that. At least I don't have to worry about Kaela getting hers done. Beth is my slow poke so she needs all this extra time. Kaela on the other hand was home sick the 3 days before Thanksgiving and still had all of her school work done for me to bring back to her teacher by 3:30 on Wednesday. I really hate this part of vacation! Of course if DH had agreed to leave the kids at home for this cruise, this wouldn't be an issue!

Hey Steph, Our Docs say 5142 and I can find it on the ships plan we have.............If not I'll just sleep in a Pool Chair Will be up all night anyway with all you night owls

I think that is a great story. What I don't get is why you were going to wait 9years to get married. I guess going to New Orleans again is out ot the question. How much is the cost to renew your vows on the ship? 12 years, wow that is great! Dh and I will be married 17 in June. We are high school sweet hearts. We however waited 10 years to have kids, babysitting all my neices and nephews was the best form of birth control. lol

He asks what I "talk" to all of you about, so being a smart alek, I told him I was talking about him. DH is modest and on the conservative side, so couldn't believe that I would "say" that to all of you. You would think that after all these yrs, he would be used to it

I found it, I was looking in the passporter's guide for the deck plan, but when you look in brouchure that they sent you with the dvd its in there. Sorry!
I guesss you won't be the first to get your pool chair every day...lol

Steph, It depends on when DCL makes the cruise schedules available. I believe you can book now through the end of 06. Best thing to do would be to call DCL with any questions.

Okay, Mark I found your room wow you are exactly below us, hope the boat makes lots of noise so any other noises are covered up..lol Usually, I would book mid ship, but they had nothing with connecting rooms when we booked.
I hope it won't be too ruff in the back of the ship

My dd teacher has been great, but people told me that the teachers frown upon giving homework b4 vacation, because they feel they should not be taken out of school. Hopefully we will get our homework on monday from her teacher.

Make as much noise as you want......Would be entertaining LOL !!!! We have been in Back and the Middle of the ship of previous cruises. Laura prefers the back. In fact, she would like the cabin at the stern of the ship.........great views back there...........
