I AM SO EXCITED.....we are paid in full as of yesterday....now to see what to do.....haven't really looked yet.... I also need to figure out what we are doing for Feb 11 before the cruise... I am leaning towards going to Wonder Works (on international drive) in Orlando....it's like a big fun house....for both kids AND adults. We rented a one way rental for Fri into Sat.

From what I understand, the port is about 45 min SE of Orlando. Wonder Works is on International Drive in Orlando. Its the "other" main drag in Orlando besides disney....Universal and Sea World & LOTS of hotel are around there.

I'm still here and still going, cause I paid in full yesterday too! I was just waiting on word from my 7 year old's (I have to change my ticker!) 1st grade teacher about when these tests called the "Tera Nova" were gonna be. At my DD's teacher conference I mentioned that we were planning on a cruise in Feb. and would that be ok? The teacher said, "Well, I can't tell you what to do about that, but that might be the week of testing. I was starting to feel crushed, but decided not to give in to the feeling until the teacher verified the actual dates. Yesterday, in my daughter's take home folder was a note that said, "Testing is in January. Have a great trip!" So, as soon as the kids were in bed, I paid the sucker off! I am STILL waiting on airfare to go down more. I might be stubborn, but I notice that the seats aren't filling up and the prices have never been this high in the past for Cleveland to Orlando, so I am holding out. Can't wait to meet everyone and I have never wished for winter to get here this bad in my life.

I ordered a FE from gradysmom last week off of ebay. I got confirmation from ebay but haven't heard anything from her. Does she usually contact you to confirm or do you just receive the FE in the mail one day?

I picked up the Passporter's Field Guide to Disney Cruises at the library. It is a good resource with lots of info all in one place.

I've decided to opt out of the FE's. As fun as it sounds, I'm just not sure I'm organized enough, and I can't imagine having to make sure I have all of the stuff ready to go in time. It will still be fun to watch though, I hope you will all share photos of what you get!

Also going online tonight to priceline to try and get a good hotel in Orlando for the days before and after the cruise.

I will have to look for that one at the library.....and maybe actually read it.... it should be a fun read. Thanks for the suggestion... I didn't want to buy any books.... didn't think of borrowing it from the library. I'd rather spend the money elsewhere .... like cruisin' in a few months...

I ordered one about a month ago and was wondering the same thing, so I sent her an email about 2 weeks after I ordered just to make sure everything was ok. She basically puts all of the orders in a queue. When I emailed her I was #17 in line She obviously sells A LOT of these!
I think she said she would be making mine this week - so basically it takes roughly a month.

She will email you automatically when you move up in the list as she needs to get your colours for the top, pockets and trim as well as what you would like on each pocket and the top. If you like, you can email her with your preferences and she will get back to you right away... but I'm pretty confident that she has a very organized system and you won't be missed!

Yup, me too on the saving $$ for more important things. I bought a blank journal and am making all of my cruise notes in there in the hopes of having everything in 1 place for when we actually travel!!
I cannot believe how much planning goes into this - all the stuff to remember to bring etc!!

I did the same thing, when I ordered it I sent an e-mail with all of our details at the same time. I only got a confirmation from e-bay, not her. So, after about 3 wks I sent an e-mail making sure she got all of my details and she had, told me I was #7 in line, anticipated to make it that week and I probably got it about 9 days later. When I got it, one of the names was spelled incorrectly, but I just e-mailed her, she said to ship it back and she would fix it- so I got it on a Saturday, mailed it back on a Monday and got it back a week from that Thursday... she seems to be very organized!

I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving!! We are officially paid in full!!!!

I have decided that we are going to do our own thing in St. Maarten. The plan is to take a taxi to Le Gallion (sp??) Beach. They discourage nudity and the beach goes out approx 100 meters which will be good for my little ones. I think we are going to try to stop by Maho Beach to see the airplanes go by.

St. Thomas/St. John - I think we are going to do the skyride thing but not through Disney since they don't even provide transportation if you do book through them. And then we are going to do Coral World.

Still trying to decide when to try to do Palo and when to make reservations for my younger two in Flounders Reef. I know I want to try to get them in every night about 45 minutes into dinner so they don't get fussy and I can enjoy dessert and some adult conversation but not sure when else to reserve.

When is the cut off for FE? I need to go back and see if there is a final list so I can get started on the gifts. I can't believe how fast this is going by.

OH, I almost forgot...we went to Disneyland this past Tuesday and it got me sooo super excited for our trip!!! I got to take my now 4 year old (will be 5 a week before we cruise) on his first roller coaster and he LOVED it! I cannot wait to see everything else through his precious eyes!!! I also tried a Dole Whip that I have heard so much about but I wasn't crazy about it. It was good but nothing to write home about.

The cut off for the FE is November 29th which is the 75 day mark so only two more days, at that time I will send out the final list. I am just waiting for a couple people to update me. I need to know if Jess Warren parent's are going to join in or not and if blessedmomofboys if anyone in your extended family are going to join.

I'm just getting into the boards. this will be our first cruise and we are from Minnesota. We have 3 kids and 2 Grama's traveling with us so 2 cabins. We'd love to get in the FE's and I'll probably buy mine on ebay. In cabin 2124, we have 1 kid, age 11 (male) and in 2122 2 kids, both age 8 (SR, female and DR, male). How do I find the most current list of FE participants? Please let me know what other info is needed and I'll get shopping for our gifts to give.
