weather last year was awesome.. st. maarten was HOT and we didnt have any rain.. other than a few clouds that passed over but we sailed right thru them...we are hoping for the same..
i spent everyday at the pool area... catching some sun since we have long winters in NY and dont get much sunshine..

The facebook group has been very active lately!! I wanted to ask you guys over here too... We previously talked about doing a group lunch either reserving the private room in Palo or going to Lumier's one day. Is this something that others are interested in? Preference in location? We can only have a table for 12/14 (no more, no less) in Palo. Lumier's we can probably all sit together and it is "free" and you can have kids in there. The sea days are Sunday, Monday and Thursday. Anyone have a particular day you would like to do it on?

Only 36 more days!!!!!!!!!!

I would love to do either. The only day that wouldnt work the best for me would be Sunday as I have a Palo brunch scheduled for that day!

Jen that is great.. I have a 7 yr old boy, 8 yr old girl (tomboy) and a 10 year old girl. Also gramma coming along....but she finds things to keep herself busy as i like to sit at the pool and read or whatever...
We took this same cruise last year and loved it so decided to go again...

I have not booked Palo and i didnt do it last time.. but i would be up for it... i can drop the kids at the kids club location or leave them with Gramma... i had not thought of meeting at the boarding day meet..where do they meet? and what time do they meet?

I'm working on my FE gifties this weekend, and I noticed there are still a couple of people on the FE list that haven't updated their cabin numbers.

This is our first cruise and we are sooooooo excited. Well we are my 12 yr old son is not so sure, he has reservations!!! Anyway so looking foward to meeting some nice people and seeing some lovely new places. My name is Jo and I will be travelling with my husband Paul and our two sons Isaac (12) and Jacob (8)

We are in stateroom 2000 right at the front of the ship...

Any tips for a first time cruiser? Are there alot of activities for tweens? I think my eldest is worried that it will be too babyish for him? Also for anyone who has been to St Maarten and St Thomas which are the best beaches?

Is it normal to feel this excited I cant sleep and i have butterflies in my tummy!!! you would think i was 6 not 36!!!

We have a 12 year old son too, and he is thrilled. Does your son know about the edge? It's the area for Tweens. The programming doesn't sound babyish at all.

I too am crazy excited and think daily about the cruise. I. Cant. Wait.

Yes, we will be there. I am easy to spot also since my daughter (turns 6 right before we cruise) has bright red hair. She really sticks out. Her name is Amanda and I am Jen by the way!

You will have so much fun!! We did a Disney cruise (Western) last year and loved it so much we booked another one for this year! If you read the whole thread, there is a link to a facebook page where we are all chatting. There are lots of experienced cruisers and new cruisers on there so you can ask all the questions you want!

ola everyone i have just joined the facebook page and will probably bombard everyone with lots of questions.

Anja i have told Isaac that he has nothing to worry about and showed him that there will be other 12 year olds. I know he'll be glad of any new friends so we will have to steer them in each others direction.

I am a little confused as to what drinks we can bring on board ie water sizes and amounts and alcohol. I'm not a big drinker but i would quite like a little tipple whilst getting ready for the evening.
