We will be staying at the Radisson on the 2nd also, from past meets I can tell you the best place to meet is 3pm up on deck 10 above the goofy pool. It's really too hectic to meet on deck 9. Just my Humble opinion. :cool1: :Pinkbounc

This sounds good to us!! What does everyone else think??

Welcome Catwoman25!!

Sounds good to me. I think by 3p we can have most of our stuff done and it will be before the life boat drill. Count us in!

Hi, My name is Tammy and I will also be cruising on 2/3/07 along with my husband and two children DD will be 4 and DS just turned 2. This was supposed to be a surprise for my 40th birthday, but AAA sent the information to my attention and I opened the mail! So, my birthday isn't until 12/7, and my husband booked this last December...pretty good secret so far...and now I am freaking a little because I feel like I have so much to catch up on! A friend suggested I come to this board to help me out. So glad I did!!

Please any help anyone could give I would greatly appreciate it!!
I saw where someone was talking about ordering water...can someone fill me in on that please.

Tammy in Buffalo, NY

Welcome Tammy!
I have some files with some great info! I can't seem to figure out how to link them to a private message but I will keep trying! If you want to PM me with your email address I can send them that way.

I am also celebrating my 40th on the ship!! When is your birthday??

We are 105 days out! I know that NOT because I am in a suite (I wish!!) but because I got the Romantic Escape Package. I was able to reserve my Palo and excursion ressies this morning (yup...got up at 3am!) :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :surfweb: :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

Anyway...I hadn't noticed it before, but they added an Extreme Getaway Package at Castaway Cay. It is the Stingray Excursion with the Getaway Package added (snorkle, fins, tube and bike rental). I was excited about it ($54ish for adults and $40ish for kids), but now I am wondering if the water will be to cold to enjoy most of it....

I think I remember some of you had cruised this time of year before...any thoughts?? :confused3

105 days :dance3:

Hey(again)! :wave2:
I am still looking for someone to hang out with on the cruise! My sister has already found someone but i haven't found anyone yet. Remember if you have a daughter or son that is around 15 years old maybe i could get connected with them before the cruise and if you do then send me a private message or an email. Time is almost running out :hourglass .Well bye for now!

:wizard: Have a magical day!

Welcome Tammy!

My DD will be 3&1/2 at cruise time and we are sailing with her twin cousins who will be just shy of 5. Maybe the kids will be able to connect. Either way Welcome to our group!

We booked here because we want to try the sleep number beds. The pool looks great. I just finished reading thru the whole thread again. Did I tell you they now have a Castaway Party meet on the ship? I booked four cabins for our Jan 5th 2008 cruise and forgot you have to cruise within 14 months to convert to points, so I had to cancel those bookings. Will do over on this cruise, it's a nice savings on points. This will be our fourth family cruise with points, it's like free, isn't DVC great! This will be MY & DW 9th & 10th Magic cruise. tomorrow is the two digit dance!!! Any suggestions on how to get to the Radisson. Anyone want to share a Limo. I haven't booked our flights yet :cool1:

So excited!!! I would love to have a meet at the hotel! Just let us know when!
It's me, hubby, ds 8, dd 4. Its a suprise trip for them! So we would love to set up a meet and get to know!

We are at the Radisson and would love to meet also!
Vic32...my DS8 is looking for a buddy! DD8 will be there too!

Hello Everyone -

I just happened to stumble across this forum while surfing the net and am so excited that I am not the only person jumping for joy about this cruise. This will be my first official cruise as well as DCL cruise that I have ever taken and I hope it lives up to my expectations. I will be cruising with my mother to celebrate my 30th birthday. It's the second part of my Disney Birthday extravaganza which also includes a week at WDW, staying at AKL. My mother and I love Disney and have been visiting WDW since I was 3 and stopped a live show to shake Mickey's hand! Any advice for the upcoming cruise would be appreciated and if there are any other adult mother/daughter cruisers who'd like to meet up let me know!

See you in Feb!

Heather

tjeagle- we are arrivimg at the airport at 6:30. So I am not sure when we get to the hotel. But I am sure the kids will be wound up tight and ready to go when we get there! When are you all arriving? We could meet for a little while at the hotel! I am sure once we get on the boat and my ds goes to the kids club I wont see him unless I pull him out!

Hey! :mickeyjum

The days just keep getting smaller and the cruise is getting closer!
I can't wait! I hope everyone is really excited!

Tic Toc, Tic Toc. :hourglass

:tinker: Have a magical day!

I need alittle help please. We are trying to decide what night to go for Palo.
We don't want to miss Pirate night. But is there anything other special nights I should look out for?
And for excursions we are thinking at St.Marteen of just taking the kids to beach for the day. We would like abeach that is kid friendly and we can rent stuff for snorkeling.
Or does anyone have recomendations for something we could do.My hubby wants to go scuba diving somewhere.
We are such a loss don't know what to choose. If anyone would like to share any thoughts please do!

Vic32...
We had the same dilemma about Palo. We ended up picking Wednesday night at 6pm. It is St. Thomas and we plan to go to the beach and/or coral world if the weather is nice. The dinner is Master Chef, which menu excited me the least! We planned dinner for 6pm so that we can take the kids to our regular dinner for second seating (hopefully 8pm) because it is my birthday and I want to celebrate with them also. If it wasn't my B-day we would have just planned on having them eat with the club. You can check out all the menus at www.castawayclub.com. I also considered the shows...Wed should be the Caberet Show...which also excited me the least of all the shows!

Our flight in Friday is early. We should arrive in Orlando by noon. We will probably stop at my cousins to visit before heading to the Radisson. We can try to meet up, even briefly if it is late after you get in!

Thanks for the link I checked out the menus. I agree with your choice. How do I find out what shows are what night? St. Thomas would be a good day to do that.
I think in St. Marteen we are just chillin. Can't decide which island my hubby wants to scuba! Anyone have recomendation? Do they do that at CC?
We should figure out a way to meet. email me i will give my cell.
