Thanks for the link I checked out the menus. I agree with your choice. How do I find out what shows are what night? St. Thomas would be a good day to do that.
I think in St. Marteen we are just chillin. Can't decide which island my hubby wants to scuba! Anyone have recomendation? Do they do that at CC?
We should figure out a way to meet. email me i will give my cell.

As far as I have figured out....Sunday is Golden Mickeys, Monday is Twice Charmed, Tuesday is Pirate Night, Wednesday is the Caberet Show, Thursday is Disney Dreams, Friday is Remember the Magic. I don't know if I read that on the boards or from the Passporter??

I'll PM you my cell!

Thankyou very much. I cannot tell you how hard it is to plan this trip and keep it a secret!

Just booked our cruise today using DVC points! My name is Lyle and my DW is Laura and DD is Lyndee age 10....hince the triple L name. We went on a 3 night cruise last Jan and needless to say we had just a little fun and now we must do a 7 night....sure some of you discovered very quickly that 3 nights are just not enough.

Would love to hear if there are any other girls in my daughters age range. She did not spend much time in the kids area last time as she said they treat you like your babies. Was ok with me as I had a great time with her. :)

Mainly wanted to introduce us. Have been checking this board for many trips to WDW, but never posted. See you in I believe, 95 days.

We have decided not to come down on Friday the 2nd Since this is a 2 week cruise, DW doesn't want to leave the new grandson any longer than we have to. Guess we'll have to wait to try out those sleep number beds. Let's hope we don't have a snow storm, that would be a real bummer.

I have been waiting and waiting for my daughter college winter schedule to come out to decided if we are going to make it on this cruise. Well it came out to day, so we are all clear to schedule the trip. This will be our 3rd cruise with DCL. We were planning on renting our points out and do a non disney vacation this year, well that didn't work out, so it must have been an omen that we should take this same cruise again this year. Anyway we ususally get an extra day to come out early to WDW, but not this year my DD finals will be the morning of our flight out from CA and we won't be arriving until 11pm in mco.

So I have a question for the group. I know we can get a room down by the port for the night 2/2. Anyway I have read that some are staying at the Raddison. I don't want to get a rental car, so how can you get to the hotel from the airport. Shuttles, limos etc. What are the rates people are paying for their transporatation and with whom. I don't know that I will stay at the Raddison as we probably won't get there until 1am, so I want to stay cheap, but clean and safe.

Any recomendations out there would be appreciated.

Thanks

It seems I booked this cruise soooo long ago and after midnight it will be 90 days!!! Very soon we can book our Palo reservations and such. I am still working on the airport to the hotel transportation. I have looked at FL tours, tiffany limo and happy limo. Does anyone have experience with any of these? I would appreciate any advice. Thanks!

GRRRR! The system is saying it is having trouble and won't let me in! AAAAAAAAAA! It's 5:24am eastern time.

I did a dry run a few days ago and everything worked, and I am logged in! :furious:

It's me again...I just noticed my ticker for the first time in a few days....

2 MONTHS 4 WEEKS!! WE ARE UNDER THE 3 MONTH MARK!!

(OMG...I have to step up my diet if I am going to fit into my cruise clothes!!! :lmao: :rotfl: :lmao: :rotfl: )

Was able to fill out my forms this AM Tried yesterday and couldn't, now I have to wait till next Sunday to fill out the 10th then home free. We are going to Palo's for our 36th Anniversary on the 12th. Our 10th Cruise and the first time for Palo's. We've always enjoyed the food in the dinning rooms and never felt a need to go. Thought we'd wait for this chance to make it special. We have to crack up with our daughter & Son in Law, their first child coming soon, I don't think they have a clue how this will change theie lives. The one saving grace is that we will be baby day care. They were at some baby class Saturday. :rotfl:

Yes, getting excited on our end as well, I'll be sail-abrating a birthday as well, just 5 years longer than yours. I'm sure you will enjoy PALO, FYI it will take quite a while to get though about 2 hours, well at least ours did on our last cruise. They kept bring more food and more food even though we didn't eat everything. I think we tried almost everything on the menu, it was great, we went on the last night of the cruise at 8:30, oh make sure you save room for dessert. Our server was Marco he was greeeaat.

Hope to see you aboard and have a happy 39th +1 :bday:

Has anyone been able to make a Palo reservation? I keep getting an error message. Grrrrrrrrrrrr.

I was able to get in, it took about 20 minutes. All of the Palo dinners and brunches were available with lots of times open on Sunday.

We got home from a fundraising dinner after midnight Saturday. I set the alarm clock for 2:45 a.m. Sunday so I could get up and make our ressies. I got everything on my wish-list, so the sleep deprivation that I felt yesterday was worth it! :thumbsup2

I'm new at this. First cruise and first dis.
I was told I can't even make the res. until 90 days out.
Is that so? I read return customers get earlier preference, is that it?

Yes, if you have cruised before with DCL or are in a suite, you get to book earlier than first-timers. (I do believe this is one of the few real perks of being a repeat cruiser on DCL, anyone else?)

I think if you are 1st time and not in a suite you can book 75 days out, Castaway club is 90. Suite passengers and those who purchase the romantic escape package (me  ) can book 102 days.

Has everyone been able to book what they wanted???

Back at 'cha with the birthday wish MyLove4Disney! :cake:

Welcome Jerzeegirl!!! (I'm an ex-Jersey girl myself!!) :wave2:

I was able to secure Palo ressies for tea, brunch and dinner. The times available for dinner were earlier than I had wanted, but I did want a specific night (Wed.) I am glad I got up early (3:00 a.m.)! I'm happy. :goodvibes

We're undecided on excursions. We have three who want to snorkel, and one non-swimmer. :confused3 Any suggestions for a snorkeling excursion on St. John? Maybe the non-swimmer could stay on the boat? We're looking at the 5-Star excursion. pirate:

Tried to book Palo for brunch and nothing came up except dinner. That was Sunday, can't believe they were full! :sad2:
