This cruise is already causing me loss of sleep. The other night I woke in a panic, I had dreamt I forgot our passports(and I did not have any ID for the children) and we were told we would have to get off the ship
I think I am all done packing except for my overnight bag. I packed the women's version of Joksten's list with a few more things. I am really trying hard not to overpack, but am I packing too little? But then again since we are all wearing pj's and swimsuits what more do I need

I have been getting caught up on the trip reports. Reading them was my old Sunday morning routine....lately I haven't had the patience to read them...to focused on me....ME, ME, ME!!!
This morning however, I am enjoying them!!

a motorized vehicle.. it's a long walk.. and if you have lots of luggage and small children...you may get tired.. horses, donkey's and oxen.. are sometimes spooked on the interstate and the tolls are way higher.

i know they are legitimate questions.. but, for some reason.. just something in me.. wants to say.. here's your sign..

maybe it's how i just amuse myself..

and did you get your packing crisis settled?

also, i read where someone said, they use the bags where all the air is sucked out of them.. to make packing easier.. i always thought that was a great idea.. but what do you do for the return trip..

OMG....I will never look at Thread titles the same again!! You are hysterical!!

I had to walk away from the packing! I think I need to find one more large bag to avoid having too many small bags.......

I am going into work today to hopefully free up some time during the week....forgive the shameless disney reference...but my head is just not in the game!! (Leah would be so proud!!) One of my staff gave notice Friday...and honestly...it doesn't even bother me! I am sure when I get back I will freak out....but nothing is gonna bring me down now!! (we are already horribly short staffed!!)

Yeah...I didn't get the plastic bag packing either.....what if they leak and your luggage explodes!!

Gotta run...hockey game at 9:30....then off to work! Have a great day all!

I have been to those same threads. I did find, I need air freshner for the bathrooms, forgot to pack those ziplock bags, do not forget the backpack cooler.
Something else I learned was..do not [ack cans of pop or beer in your suitcase if you are flying...they can explode!
I have been trying to limit my time on this site as DH is not going and I should spend sometime with him as I am going to spend a week with y'all

oh yeah, in the trip report... the mom smack down was hilarious..

well i'm so glad that our doggies decided to come in from their am romp.. by another door.. cause, UPS had delivered Chandler's pirate costume to that door.. one we never use.. i'd never seen it.. otherwise.. and would have been calling around Tues.. to say.. where is the costume.. gah.. in all fairness to the ups drivers.. we do have 6 doors leading to the outside from various points around our house.. quick escape.. i suppose was our reason.. well chan loves her pirate costume and now wants to wear it to church..

yeah, i read one thread where one person.. packed a bottle of red wine "safely" in the middle of their largest suitcase.. big mistake big..

Today is the first day Sarah does not have fever in 5 days I am thinking of staying home from church just avoid all the cold and sick people. Her preschool is at church and they shut down last week due to illness spreading through the school.

vic it sounds like a plan.. eventhough her fever is down.. her immune system is probably still regrouping.. and since her preschool was closed down because of it.. well do what you feel is right.. but, i think it's a good thought.. it's 31 degrees here.. how old is sarah again.. we have a turning 5 on Tuesday girl with us and my dd will be 7 in May..

Good morning!

Well, we got the house cleaned up. I haven't packed, but we did get the house clean and are now awaiting the arrival of the MIL.

I have big plans to pack tonight. I better! We leave for WDW on Wednesday! My DH is laughing at me b/c he always packs the night before; he doesn't understand why I keep saying I have to pack, I have to pack. As long as it's done by Wed. a.m., he thinks we're fine!

Gotta run. MIL is knocking at the front door! Have a great day!
