Hey Ladies!!
What is the benefit of going through Liston?? We are planning to taxi to a beach....I have never NOT gone with a excursion, so I am alittle nervous planning to run off on our own.......
$25.00.. you have an option of being picked up at 9:00, 10:00 or 11:00.. we chose 10:00 (i hate feeling rushed)...you know it's not the laidback way.. 2 hours shopping time with the 10:00 pick up time.. 2 hours hitting the sites, 2 hours beach time.. back to the ship at 4:00..

:surfweb: Good Morning You all are up early!! I am sitting here realizing that we fly in 5 days. Which means I have 4 days left and have not packed:scared1: My dh is packed and I am afraid to ask if he packed a suit. I am sure he did not! He said its vacation not work!
What island and beach are you all talking about?!
what we are doing on St. Thomas.. we're booked through shoretrips for St. Maarten.. doing this pirateship, openbar, beach lunch, openbar, beachtime, openbar, snorkel, openbar, float around on noodles, openbar thingy..

:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

That sounds like fun!!! And only 25.00 pp. I will show this to Mo. We didn't have anything really planned. Some tram thingy and shopping! Save room on the bus we just might be joining y'all!

Kim Head.. there I said it.. they are very nice.. and they usually reply in the pm.. via email.. very easy.. very funny and smooth their emails.. very personal.. there is a deposit required.. for 6 of us.. it was $50.00

Does anyone know where to find the coupons online for Coral World?? We're just taking a taxi over and then walking over to Coki beach.

OK, it was -2 here yesterday.... I'm ready to hear Magic's wonderful horn!!!

So who else is doing the Martini tasting? We did it last year and I have to admit we decided to leave DD in the club a bit longer... at least until the ship stopped "rocking".:rotfl:

You know you're excited about cruising when you wake up, read the boards, and at 9am think a martini sounds good. I knew they had wine tasting and margarita testing, but not martini testing. I guess I'll finally get the courage to even attempt to try something other than an appletini. Oddly enough, the Disney Cruise is where I was first turned onto them.

TJ - Doesn't sound like too many bags to me. Did you get the transfers to and from the ship? Cuz if so, the only bag carrying you have to do is from your vehicle to the airport. I think we had a total of 6 fairly big bags last time and we managed to find space to fit them all under the bed (they fit inside of each other). But then, I'm an overpacker myself and will find any way to rationlize being able to bring everything I want.

We chose Sunny Liston b/c the price was so reasonable for what you get. I felt like a sucker last cruise for paying the DCL excursion prices only to get to where I was going and find out people planned on their own and paid half the price. Plus, it sees when you take a DCL excursion you haev to leave so gosh darned early in the morning. Our Sunny Liston tour isn't starting until 11am! I've heard there's nothing like being on ship when it's desserted (or is it deserted?) on a port day.

Good morning everybody!!!

I am near the point of busting, with excitment!! Only 5 days until we leave!!! Hippie!!!

I went to the mall and exchanged my dress AGAIN, and this time I found the right one and some....now I have 5 dresses for 1 night. (In case you all couldn't tell from not being able to make up my mind about the dolphin excursion, I am a bit indecisive on everything). True story...I never even knew I was indecisive until my mother in law (before she was my MIL) asked me if I was and I honestly asnwered w/o thinking....I don't know.

MY DH who is sooo not excited (kind of Micky moused out b/c we go every year) went Snowmobiling this weekend leaving me to pack and do all the last minute stuff. Its funny b/c we are so oppoistes on everything. He loves snowmobiling, skiing etc. His idea of vacation is cold, snow and excitement. Mine is warm, topical, relaxing, drinking,drinking,drinking,drinking....did I mention drinking?

Jiminy Cricket!! It took me a whole day to figure out how to do the picture thing and even so it's too small. ARGHHH!!

Hi DJ I am thinking of shopping for a different dress today! As I sit here eating a Krispy Kreme, no gym today!I may need something a little bigger!
I am going to sneak downstairs and start packing!

Good morning everyone! 6 days and counting for us. On my last minute list. Trying to remeber all the little things like sunglasses, book and mp3 to name a few. It is still a little to early to pack everything, because I still need somed of it. I also started charging all electronic stuff (cameras,mp3, batteries).

I think I'm actually on track or ahead of myself, but I know when Thur rolls around I will be running around with my head cut off.

Does anyone know exactly which bar we need to go to to make Palo reservations? If so how do you get there. We were unable to get them when they opened in Nov so that will be our first stop. I am going to do that while my DH goes to GS to get tickets for all these educational libation tastings. I know he will see you all there too.

DSpirate: 6 is getting very excited. We are going to Magic Kingdom on Fri after we arrive at 10a. Anyone else going to be there that day?

I have to go to work 2p-11p today so don't have too much fun without me on this board today.

Keep counting down :hourglass and we will be cruising in no time.

have a Great day!

Thanks for the coupon reminder! I read about it and never printed it out! I think we will taxi over ourselves (love the Liston idea...but promised DH I wouldn't shop too much;) ), so we'll see ya'll there!! (see...still working on my ya'lls!!)

Just got back from my pedicure....DELIGHTFUL!!! The color I choose was Margarita!! I looked for a Martini color but no luck!!:rotfl:

Off to organize the clothes ONE MORE TIME before I pack them up!!

I'M SO EXCITED!! I am really looking forward to meeting everyone! I was always so envious when reading trip reports of the fun groups people seemed to have meet.......NOW I'M ONE OF THEM!!:grouphug:

Lisa- I am thinking the same thing- something different than an appletini.
I was first tuned on to them at Brown Derby on a girls trip!!! Proceeded to have I think 8 that night between the restraunt and the dance hall at the Boardwalk!! That was quite a trip.Good Times!:cheer2:

Thanks for the link!

The martini tasting was wonderful! I don't care much for the dirty martini (yes, I'm a girl-drink drunk) but the others were yummy. My favorite is a chocolate martini! Mmmm, I make them at home a lot. Last month I tried a pineapple-coconut martini - oh my, that went down way too easily!

Is it noon yet???

I'm nursing a cold so I only go up a hour ago. I feel a lot better today, thanks for asking!;) We start gathering (me) and folding (Gail) clothes today with packing (mostly Gail) starting tomorrow.

The mail came and still no wristbands, Thanks to all who offered to back us up (and you know who you are, dahlings!) :cool2:

Remember, it is better to look good than to feel good!!!

We may have to schedule some of these Adult Beverage Tasting Seminars!:drinking:

Gary...feel better!!

Okay...I just had my first pre-cruise meltdown! Packing up clothes and not putting all on one persons things in one bag (DIS tip...so if luggage gets lost there will be stuff in another bag....) isn't working for me!! I have taken out and repacked 3 times........AHHHHHHHHH!

Okay...needed to vent....feel better now!:)

so.. if tj has 6 pieces of luggage..and 300 pieces of clothes.. how many pieces of clothes should she put in each suitcase..after she had divided that number by however many people she is packing for and assuming that 6 of those bags can all hold equal amounts of clothing..:teacher:
