What's on your cruise to-do list this weekend??

I have given up on finding a bathing suit, so the one I have will have to do! I THINK all my shopping is complete....but you never know! Just made my last (I think) door sign...had to shout out to the Happy and Laid Backs!!

DH just got the luggage out....so packing is in my future!! And I want to call and confirm (again!) my hotel and Limo ressies....Pedicure as I mentioned before.....and sitting right here chattin with Y'all! (that was for you WeloveDCL!!..no fair..we have no nickname for you!!)

Hi there my plans I am going to the gym in the morning to work off this last 10 pounds. Then call budget to make sure we have the correct rental. Call my friend make sure the hotel is set. Start looking for my summer shorts!
TJ- No you are not going crazy my sweet dh put him on today!!!I love it. He said I needed a cool signature like everyonen else.

Tammy- The green bands are the latex livestrong-like kind and they say Disney Magic 2/3/07. They are for us to all be able to recognize each other at a glance and be a souvenir. I think there may be a picture on this thread somewhere. I know there is a link to the web site I got them from. I think it may be too late to order them now. They came from 24hourwristbands.com

Vic32- Thanks so much for picking that up for me.

Gary- I was wrong I have 3 extra, but I think this is still enough to cover you and Gail should you not get yours.

I did some packing and trying on of clothes tonight. My guest bedroom looks like the vacation fairy threw up in there. I have to work 5 out of the next 6 days so I need to be on top of everything.

Anybody with any good tips for must haves that I may have forgotten?

Keep counting down we are almost there!

dang.. i quit getting updates to this thread in my email.. and i always click on it.. i just got home and was thinking.. did nobody talk today..

i found a swimsuit at old navy.. 20.00 one piece bronze.. i haven't tried it on..so i may take it back..

vic.. katrina..killed me.. for my coastal neighbors.. i had friends calling us from all over the US asking if we were okay... i was like heck yeah.. we're close to memphis.. i absolutely love NO.. hardly a day goes by that i don't meet someone that has migrated to rebuild here.. i guess that is one of the reasons i was really pulling for the saints.. and poor biloxi.. got wiped out.. all of those beautiful homes.. along the gulf.. gone.. not even timber left there. just empty pads and driveways..pretty little bay st louis.. gone..

i went to our $ store today.. no over the doors to be had.. i did go to dollar general.. and they had one that i got two of.. it hangs by a hook and it is white mesh(see through) with a navy back.. for 2.00 each.. so i bought both.. very compact.. so if someone needs one.. i have that.. from what i remember.. there are some hooks.. around the hall/bathroom area.. so i thought i'd just hang it on there..

not being as creative as TJ.. i bought two.. disney placemats...lol and i'm writing on them with a sharpie for our door sign... i really do like the shabby chic approach.. it goes with my happy and laid back persona..



okay.. sometimes this board totally crashes out my computer.. and i had copy pasted on word document.. the jewelry store hook up in St. Thomas.. if someone has it handy.. could they please repost.. or i wil search back tomorrow.. cause i'm hitting up that store..

that's all the fun and games here.. i didn't buy anymore formal wear.. so i'm making progress..

i'm really big on the correct spelling of that important word y'all.. and don't stress on the nicname..i'm sure several will come to mind after you've met me.. on another type of board i'm on.. it's idol...lol long story there...

embrace the TJ.. it works for you.. and i still have to buy some luggage.. we have one enormous suitcase and last year.. we had to pay extra cause it was so heavy.. go figure.. so i need another big one to offset the weight.. and we want a large roll on duffle.. can't remember why....but, for some reason it's a must..

Hello mom2grace would love to join you, but we are not getting in at the air port until 6:30 that night. So we are going to our locals folks here the night before, getting hands and feet done. They have these cool massage chairs you can almost fall aspleep. I don't do ped often, I'm so ticklish, but gotta have pretty feet and toes.

Gosh. I was too busy to check in for a week and there were almost 20 new pages of posts. Shouldn't you all be PACKING or something??

My TA got our document yesterday. I'm going to pick them up Mon I think.

Sorry about all you folks with sick kiddos. But it's SO much better to get it over with before the vacation. Keep hydrating them and stuffin' 'em with Vitamin C. Hm, can kids take that Airborne stuff?

LOL about the weight gain and not worrying about it. Which leads me to my biggest tip for anybody who hasn't cruised before: BRING LOOSE FITTING CLOTHES. I'm dead serious that I gained 12 pounds in the one week of our last cruise. By Wednesday all my clothes were snug and by Friday I was downright uncomfortable. Everything I've been buying is stretchy or spandex-laden. (Guess I'll fit right in at 80's night, huh?)

Who was questioning about Sunny Liston tours? (Sorry, didn't take notes.) We're planning Sunny's St. Thomas tour based on the highest of recommendations. I was put at ease about making it back to ship by 4:30pm. But I have to confess I was thinking.....DCL seems pretty cautious and aware to keep track of who's leaving the ship and you'd think they'd know if somebody wasn't back on board. Makes me wonder if they'd really leave without one of us. KWIM?

Jackie -- Brrrrrrr! Can you hardly stand this frigid cold??!!!!!!!!!!

SnowWhite2 - Would your daughter be interested in having our daughters email before the cruise? Olivia, is dying to meet somebody to hang with. She just turned 11 on Tuesday. As far as I've been tracking they're they only two girls on these boards who're about the same age.

Lisa that was me stressing over Sunny Liston.. but, we booked.. they were so nice.. and gosh, the emails going back and forth.. they said, they'd have us back by 4:00.. andthat many disney people took their excursion.. so we're scheduled with them from 10:00 til 4:00.. thank you though. and yeah, we have been chatty..

I know on past cruises there always seemed to be people whos path you crossed often...
After the last few days on this tread....I recommend going to Diversions when you need a friend......I am pretty sure one of us will be there enjoying the Marini Flight!

Or maybe we can have the Captain blow a special whistle...a Laid Back and Happy Alert...."All Hands on Martinis....."

Okay all....I started putting clothes in the suitcases last night........I think I am over packing...as it stands now, it looks like I am going to have 2 large bags, 1 suit bag and 2 medium bags....shoot! Joksten, I think I need you to come down and give me light packing lessons!!

And.. last cruise.. we kept seeing alot of the same people.. I love to people watch.. so maybe I just noticed them more or something. So i have my ticket order marching orders

Myself and Melanie.. the beer, martini and margarita seminars.. (doesn't that but an educational spin on it)

Dh and DSIL.. the beer seminar, other than this.. they plan to further their study in this area independently.. somewhere poolside, in a happy and laid back fashion.

Good Morning You all are up early!! I am sitting here realizing that we fly in 5 days. Which means I have 4 days left and have not packed My dh is packed and I am afraid to ask if he packed a suit. I am sure he did not! He said its vacation not work!
