I've got a t-shirt and mask to wear for Pirate Night. pirate: I got my Cruise Planning package from DCL yesterday! Did anyone else get one? I was busy last night but I'll be checking it out tonight. We're definately doing breakfast at Palo's! :thumbsup2

I received my planning package in the mail, too! I'm getting excited for this cruise!! pirate: This will be our fourth time on DCL, but my DB and his SO will be joining us--for their first cruise ever! :boat:

I got mine yesterday too! It was nice to see that it's getting closer. My son pirate: had his 6th birthday yesterday and got a Jack Sparrow costume pack. He looks so cute and it will be great for the pirate night. We are going to Disney in 3 weeks and can't wait. Any suggestions for new or different dinning or activities to do in DW?

Sorry we haven't been active for so long. Our B2B 9/30 & 10/07 will determine if we do the 2/03 & 2/10. The DW is nervous we'll get bored, I say no way

I looked into doing a 4 day and 3 day B2B on the Wonder next Summer, but it was just too much money for 9 people (Our new Grandson will arrive in 12/06 or 1/07) So sadly I booked us on the Crown Princess out of NYC, a 9 day cruise for only 8.2K for the 9 of us. We haven't had a Magic family cruise since 2003. I will book one on board for Jan 5th 2008. We've really felt guilty about going on cruises without them, this will be our 3rd & 4th cruises on the Magic without them, Ah but life isn't fair is it. See everyone in 16 days :cool1: :Pinkbounc :grouphug:

What planning package....what am I missing....... :confused3 :confused3

Okay, patience...patience....I got my package today from my TA!!

Is it bad that I am so happy that it is Friday night...not because the work week is over (and it is quite a week!!) but because I have gotten in the routine of getting up Sat. mornings (I am an early riser) making a cup of coffee :surfweb: and reading trip reports!!??!! :surfweb:

Tjeagle,
Glad to hear you got the package :cheer2: Nothing worse than being the only kid on the block without the information. It was nice to get it. It makes it seem like the vacation is actually coming soon, but the info was nothing really new.

Does anybody have a son who is about 6. If so, would you be interested in getting them to write to each other before the cruise, to make "friends" so they will have someone to look for and know when they get aboard?

have a great weekend.

Is there a secret to getting the plannibg package? I have not yet :confused3
Maybe today!!!

We received our package last week. I was very excited to get it but kind of disappointed that there wasn't anything "new" in it. But at least it makes me feel like the cruise is getting closer. Counting down the days to the big trip.

Maybe today!!!

I got mine from my TA...it seemed to arrive a bit later than others. The info was nothing too exciting...but it was DCL mail just the same!! :cheer2:

Tracey...my son is 8 (will be 8 1/2 when we cruise) I am sure he'd love to email to a Cruise Buddy if you don't find someone the same age who will be in the same kids club with your son!

Our DS is 9. During last year's Eastern, he hooked up with a buddy and the spent time in the Lab together. They e-mailed a couple of times before the cruise, and then met face-to-face while we waited to board.

Hopefully we can get some of these boys together!

My ds is 8 also. But he can't email because it is a suprise!!!! But maybe they could meet on the deck! Look at me inviting him to the group! I think it would be great to have a friend right off! He has no trouble making friends though. I told my hubby we will propably have to drag him out at closing time! I got the planning package today I can hardly stand it! I hope I don't blow the suprise!

Jackie,
I think the planning DVD is new for this season. It wouldn't hurt to order a new one!

We don't have kids so we can't help there. :confused3

I'm glad you got your planning package. VIC32!!! :thumbsup2

HADD!!!

Getting the guys together would be great. I would love to have Burke email with any of the other boys out there. Especially if they are 6 or7 and would be in his kids club group.

We would have to use my email though, because Burke doesn't have one yet.

I think the boys pirate: would really have a great time if they communicated prior and then maybe we could find a time on deck or at the pool on the day we sail to get them all together.

This way they start the trip with pals party: and don't have to take the first few days to make new friends.

Anybody own a Pal Mickey? I just bought one and am interested as to what you think if you own one and have used it in the park.

Counting down the days till DW :woohoo:
17 to go

Take care all

:moped: Hey! My name is Kate! I am 15 and I am in 9th grade! I have a sister who is 8 years old and in 3rd grade! I am looking for someone who is my age that i can hang out with on the cruise so it will make my cruise more enjoyable! If any of you have any children(boy or girl)that i could hang out with on the cruise please post a reply or send me a message! princess:

Welcome Kate. My daughter is your sisters age...no help there. I would keep checking back, I would think more people will find this thread as the cruise gets closer!

Hello all,

I am making a reservation in St. Thomas with Sunny Liston Tours. I'm so excited because it means that the cruise isn't THAT far away!

Anyway, for $25 a person you get to shop for 1, 2, or 3 hours, sightsee for 2 hours and go to Mountain top (which looks GREAT to me). and then your choice of a beach for 2 hours. I emailed Sunny and he said he has been doing this for 12 years and he knows the schedules of the ships so not to worry about getting back on time.

Cruisecritic highly recommends him, for anyone else who is interested.
