Feb or March....or April?

Our goal date would be to be onsite March 9th for his birthday, but we are flexible. I know to avoid Presidents day week and I also understand that the spring breakers will start to arrive during these same months.

Best suggestions? We are open. I've checked some of the crowd calendars, but would like to hear from folks that have visited in these months.

We'd really like to be able to swim some as well, but if the pools are heated we would be ok with anytime.

Thanks!

I would vote for March. We've gone all your suggested months and March was the best. February was crowded (we went half President's week and half into the following week), weather was too chilly at night to swim (although kids don't care). March was good weather and crowds were low. April was hot and crowded. We went last April the week after the typical Easter break and it was insane....and insanely hot!

Oh and what are lovebugs????

Thanks! I think I am going for March & be there on his birthday! What better way to celebrate! =)

Easter is a HUGE influence on the crowds, particularly when it is earlier in the season.
Next year, it is on April 5th. I would avoid the week before and after if at all possible.
I've been to FL the 3rd week of April many times and the love bugs are not out yet.

March 9th is my birthday too! Good thing I wasn't born 3 weeks later, we only have to manage spring break crowds not Easter crowds!

We actually found President's Week manageable, especially the first couple of days. February is very cold at night however.
