Hi all, we are currently planning on going to WDW for a family trip late October, however may need to reschedule that trip. I was wondering what the typical crowds and weather are like in February and early March. We have historically gone in December and enjoyed the lower crowds, 70 degree days and don't mind the 50s at night, but if we were to reschedule everything is pretty much booked up for December already which is why we are considering early 2011. Thanks for the insight!

Early February is really nice crowd-wise. Weather is always variable, but on our last trip at that time the temps during the day were high 60's/low 70's; nights were rather chilly where you needed at least a light jacket. I thought it was too cold to swim, but lots of folks were in the pool! :confused3

After around Presidents' Day (2/21 next year) weekend, the crowds (Spring Break, etc.) start to appear. I don't think the crowds are Christmas-like though and someone else can probably speak to the difference.

Stay away from Presidents day/week and the Daytona 500. We go every other year to the Daytona 500 and this year was unbearable. We stay at BWV and take a limo to Daytona. The crowds this year were unbearable. There was something goin on that had all the cheerleaders and band members there along with the President's Day & Daytona 500 crowd.
The place was a zoo!!

When president's day and Mardi Gras fall the same week in February, it is extremely crowded. In 2011, the two DO NOT fall in the same week so it should not be too bad.

The first few two weeks in Feb (before Pres. Day) and the first two weeks in March (before the Spring Break crowds) are not too bad.
