Congrats everyone on your upgrades! I wish i would have booked a 9 and been upgraded but I never knew anyone got upgraded. I wonder if because we have always had connecting rooms in the past we never did or just because it has been so long since we sailed and they didn't do it as often then. I am happy about our upgrade though from 12 to 9! That was nice!!

I finished my FE and just have 4 more gifts to finish up!! Then get them a bit more organized!! I have the kids somewhat organized but not really. I hope to pack tomorrow since I want to leave Friday by 2 ish otherwise it will take us forever!!

Ugh, I think I am halfway packed for my son - I keep checking the weather every day to see how many warm clothes I need to bring!

Now, I have to start packing for me!

I was wondering where you went to warrenite. Glad you got an upgrade. When are you leaving? We are hoping to head our early tomorrow morning to drive to Detroit and then we fly from there early Sat. morning.

Since there seem to be several kids around the 8-10 age, I hope that they are all bringing their DS, as my grandson Peyton loves playing with other kids on the DS. On one of our cruises, the kids would gather around on Deck 9 and play together while I would be close at hand so they were not left alone. My basic job was to get drinks and snacks for them.

Are any of you with 8-9 year olds dining at second seating? That is another time they like to play DS together.

I believe the meet is on Deck 10, midship, outside the bar (forget what it is called, but the only one on Deck 10, lol).



I just did my online checkin with Southwest, YAH!!! "A" seating , that means I WILL get to sit next to Tristan He absolutely DOES NOT like flying (me either, but the doctor gives me anti-anxiety for flying so I really do not care once that kicks in) and everytime we go on the cruise (well, this is our third) he says this is the last time I am ever flying but my girlfriend wants me to re-book onboard and go with her next January or February on the Dream, I asked him about it and he said, well, "maybe" I'll go, too, I guess we'll just have to see how this flight goes for him, but he loves the cruise SOOO MUCH that I do not think he can say NO, EVER

Everyone have a safe and happy trip there and see you Saturday - except Trudy, maybe we'll see you tomorrow evening at the pool or something

What does DD, DS, etc. mean?

When I use it, I mean it as Disney husband (DH), Disney daughter or Disney dad (DD), Disney son (DS), etc. My parents are Disney FREAKS (I am close behind them, but cannot afford to go as often YET) (Sorry DM and DD, but you ARE). They met at Disneyland in 1967 and we lived in Anaheim, California, most of my, well, now, half of my life and practically LIVED at Disneyland. It was so inexpensive when I was growing up. A ticket was $10 for all day any ride, although I do remember the ticket books with the A, B, C, D, and the infamous E tickets. So, that is mostly why for me the D means Disney

I think I am bringing Blood Promise by Richelle Mead...as I have been saving it for a while but I am also in the middle of a bunch of other series and have City of Ashes too....just got finished rereading the Twilight books again.....DH thinks I am crazy! I have a bunch of others too, but I don't want to start any new series yet.


It's going to be cool in Florida and in the Keys.....I am bringing jeans and sneakers for our Key West day.

Wishing everyone a safe trip to the port!! I have about a 2 hour drive...should be there around 10:30am or so.

Caribear - Have you read the Sookie Stackhouse books (which is the series that True Blood is based on)? I have read the Twilight series too (a few times).

We have about a 2 hour drive as well, but we are just planning on packing the car on Friday night and then jumping in the car when we wake up on Saturday. My Mom wants to leave around 7am, I would prefer to leave around noon!

I wish we had a 2 hour drive. Ours will be 9 and if we don't get outta here early enough it will turn it into 13!! Atlanta traffic will be the first we hit (we live just north of the city) and that will be a good 2 hours of it even if we leave at 4. 3 is pushing it! Then of course we hit rush hour traffic in every city the entire way down until about 7!

Only got one more FE item to make then bag it all up. I am so excited! Just printed out our documents I needed to print!

We are on 95 heading south. They are pretreating the road for the snow and we are behind a line of spray trucks for 40+ miles

The trucks have turned to treat northbound. So glad we are leaving today before DC gets into full snow panic.

Safe travels everyone!!! We are leaving Ottawa in about 25 minutes to head to Montreal where we'll be staying overnight. Then off to Orlando tomorrow morning.. we'll be there around noon.

Went to town today and saw a Disney Cruise line bus on the way back to my parents house...that was exciting

I don't know how it added up to so much! And the last one is going to be wasteful and have shoes and then some what not in it. I can't figure out a way around the shoes though. I bought the 1st book in the Sookie Stackhouse series, but have not read it yet. I don't have HBO so I can't watch True Blood ...I will admit to watching Vampire Diaries on the CW though!!

I still have not packed....I just did a laundry though and dropped a few things off at the dry cleaners the other day. I better get moving!!

I ended up not gluing mine on. I don't know where the glue gun is and I am too tired to search further. I figured it will be okay.

I only packed because I don't want to be in a panic mode tomorrow. We are leaving at some point (when DH gets off work, what time though nobody knows). I know I'll have time in the morning but probably finish up last minute things.

I am too tired to even get up and haven't even had dinner yet!

After reading several reports this week about the outbreak of sand fleas on Castaway Cay, I stopped at the sporting goods store and got some repellent. I got bitten by these 3 years ago in Antigua and I was itchy and miserable the rest of the week. We are flying out of Nashville in the morning, so see you all at the meet on deck 10. Be safe.
