to everyone for all of the wonderful FE gifts, we loved them! I know that for our particular family it was extra work since there are five of us, but I want you all to know how much I appreciated them, every single one.

Everyone make it home safely? Not too many travel glitches or weather delays, I hope?

We just got home this afternoon... got off the ship yesterday and drove straight to Daytona, got into our seats just in time to hear "gentlemen, start your engines"! We didn't stay for the whole race (if you follow nascar or saw today's paper, then you know why LOL), the kids were SO tired. My littlest actually fell asleep in my lap! At a nascar race!! And I was bobbing my head, too!

Anyway, this cruise sure was an adventure, wasn't it? I definitely feel bad for those who were on this week's cruise, and they were the first ones I thought of. Luckily for us, we weren't flying until today anyway, so our travel re-arrangements were minimal (hotel and rental car). We enjoyed the extra day on the Magic, and I didn't feel nearly as rushed as we prepared to leave since we had the extra time. I do feel badly for others who had to make major adjustments, miss work/school, etc...

Our family had a wonderful time, and it was great getting to meet so many of you and see you around the ship. Unfortunately, my daughter and I picked up some sort of nasty cold (might be strep, going to the doc tomorrow). But overall we had a great vacation and hope that all of you did, too.

Debarkation -- well, that's another story!

We sat right behind you all week. We were so confused one evening when 3 women occupied your table. Curiosity got the better of me and I asked the waiter why they had your table. They worked in the spa and I assume you must have been at Palo that night?

Wally...we were at table #47. We were moved there due to a request to be seated by ourselves (yea Its hard to believe but I am VERY shy in person and so is my cousin Chelsea) so we were looking for you during dinner and couldn't pick you out of a crowd But we appreciated your note that you and Ben And Mike left on our door

Thankfully we didnt have to wait in that HUGE LONG line at guest services for a free phone call...WHEW it was scary!

Glad to hear about those who made it home safely...I also returned with a major cold thing going on...I cant speak cause I lost my voice and I have been coughing like crazy and my son Christopher just started throwing up tonight (not sure if it is something he got on the ship or not cause he never was anywhere without me) so anyhoo I am up late with him tonight due to that issue...

We were so thrilled with the extra day on the ship and my cousin and myself were actually sad that we made it out of CC

I wanted to send out a warm thank you for all the wonderful FE gifts. Some were so creative!! The girls loved the new surprises every day!!

We also got the cold / lost our voices. Unfortunately Bri got a flu or noro and started throwing up on the bus on the way to the airport. Not fun when we had a chaotic day of air travel (airlines messed up our ressies, etc.). Ah welll - we made it home safely!!

To those we had the good fortune of meeting, it was great to put names to faces.

I have never had this lost voice coughing thing before. How annoying it is! Otherwise I am fine though (which I am glad).

Funny, I had the lost voice thing for a day or so, too!

Then it went away... and in its place was a sore throat. Now we are home and I found out that all three kids and I have strep. My doctor said mine was so bad she could tell just by looking and didn't even need to run the test!

I thought I was taking the necessary precautions during the trip, but I think next time I will also make the extra effort before the trip... as in, don't stay up late packing/emailing/whatever, don't leave everything until the last minute, don't wear yourself out/stress yourself out, etc, etc... I was definitely on full steam/adrenaline that last week or so, and I think I paid for it dearly.

Lesson learned!!

Oh my goodness, throwing up on the bus! Poor thing!! As if debarkation wasn't crazy enough... so sorry to hear this, I hope you are all feeling better...

On that note, we could use some get well pixie dust for this group... may we all get well QUICK!

I have had this before... not fun. Ironically, I always get the opposite - extremely sore throat, lose my voice and as my voice improves, sniffles, chest congestion, etc.

ITA about some healing pixie dust!

As for my niece, yep - I felt so bad. She was throwing up all the way to the hotel.. bus, flights, etc. Poor girl. We had to board the planes too otherwise we were told we'd be stuck in Orlando until the 20th. She's feeling better today - so, probably noro visrus or flu.

DH and then myself are also battling the loss of voice cold. He is on the mend and I am hitting the worst.

We had three and a half feet of snow to shovel when we came home and are very happy to have been trapped at CC and not snowed in at home.

I still have the leftover junk on my kitchen table from the FE. I packed them last thing before we left and then never put things away. Now I am regretting the mess I left! And my sewing room is a disaster! But it usually is, just gotta get in and get some orders done though.

Ugh - I hope all of you who got sick heal quickly.

It's odd because I thought my daughter was getting our cold, but she isn't coughing or sounding raspy at all... yet she was running a high fever yesterday at 39.5. So, maybe it was viral? Thankfully the fever has come way down this morning and she even slept in until 10am - what a treat!

So Trudy... I am curious... will you cruise again? With DCL??

What about any other folks who were on their first cruise or first DCL cruise? What did you think? Would you do it again? Does having the 20% off influence your decision?

We will definitely cruise DCL again. This was our 2nd DCL and 10th cruise overall. Because of the high cost of DCL we don't cruise with them very often. Because of the 20% off coupon, I can better afford to cruise with DCL in the future. Our next 2 cruises are with Princess and Royal Caribbean, but after that it will be Disney.
