Off to look up creative idea to surprise my kids at Christmas when we tell them about the cruise! When I asked them a month or so ago if they'd rather go back to WDW or go on a cruise (we did RDL last time) they couldn't decide, so I think they'll be pretty excited about a Disney cruise (or at least about missing 6 days of school!).

if you find some great ideas, will you share? My kids are getting it for christmas too!!!!!
thanks!!!!!!!:yay:

shanie17 what if you made them a replica of the Wonder out of legos? it would be impressive and they'd have a toy to play with as well.

Have you seen the video online of that girl who starts hysterically crying opening her present to find out they are going to Disney... You gotta record their reactions!!! what if you did like a scavenger hunt or something with little clues all about disney or something, and then the final clue lead you to something with the confirmation, and a disney shirt or something. I dunno. I love me a good scavenger hunt though! :)

And I would also like a replica of the Wonder made out of Legos if anyone wants to make me that as a FE gift...Hint, Hint... :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Wow PrincessSophiesmom that is fantastic - wish I had the patience for that!

AMAZING...it's good you posted the picture too, cause I'll expect whoever makes me that as a FE gift, makes it perfect like that. :rotfl2: :rotfl2: But seriously, that thing is AWESOME!

Hey guys!! I also wanted to make sure you have me down as a participant for the fe exchange!!! what do i need to do???:wave2:

Hi!

I have a feeling this cruise is going to come very fast! Where are the days going?

I love the Lego idea, can someone build it for me and send it here for Christmas? :rotfl2:

Not too much progress on planning here...been out of town with kids sports this weekend and home only for the night before heading back out of town for the week for work! I'm thinking I need to find a weekend to myself (I know, I know I did already have a day...but didn't get everything done.)

My to do list includes:
Make an FE
Figure out what to make for gifts and get them done!
Figure out rental car for last day
Book excursions
Book Palo? (Havn't decided yet)
Decide what clothes to take.
Determine what clothes I need to buy the kids (they will have outgrown all of their dress clothes by then)
Figure out the Christmas surprise to tell them

Of course by now you are wondering why I am typing this list to you instead of getting my butt in gear and getting started, but have you ever had so many things to do you don't even know where to start?

So for now, i head off to finish the laundry and get packed for the week ahead :laundy:

Once you get to 10 posts, you can PM me, then just send me the names and ages of everyone in your stateroom, and your stateroom number if you know it already. You don't have to put names, but sometimes people do personalized gifts. Whatever you feel comfortable with!

I vote YES for Palo!!! So So SOOOO good!!!!

Hi guys

So thought I would keep you updated. I have booked flights into LAX for Friday Feb 3rd so thought we could do a day at Disneyland on the saturday. Disney are doing a good deal at the Paradise Pier for $340 for 2 nights. Has anyone stayed here before and is it nice??

Also just completed check in and booked Palo :cool1: so DH and I can get a bit of alone time.

Next on the list is port adventures. Does anyone know what they are doing and have any recommendations?

I dont know about anyone else but doing the online check in makes it even more real and I am getting more excited by the minute.

Nikki

HI Nakkim

I have stayed at Paradise pier before and it is good.I prefer the Disneyland hotel because it is a close walk and seems a little more fun than Paradise Pier but you will like it.

Im looking at the port adventures too.Im looking(I think) at Las Caletas Hideaway. Its one that all my kids are old enough to do.

Thanks Shanie17

I am thinking of the Las Caletas as well it looks really nice.

Hey all,

just booked a few nights ago, can't wait! It will be me (38), wife (30ish), DD (5), DD(4). First Disney cruise. We've been Annual Passholders for a few years, so we know about the Disney Magic....

We'll be doing Las Caletas in PV. Looks amazing! Mixed reviews on TripAdvisor, but seems worth it and a lot of fun for the family.

Probably just get a water taxi over to Los Arcos in Cabo and hang out on the two beaches there for the first day.

Okay, I showed my wife the Fish Extender's and the door magnets, and she is excited!

Sign us up for the FE! Our girls will love getting gifts, but they will love delivering things more!

Wife doesn't get into the cruise meets and stuff, so we probably won't join the FE. At least we'll know what it is when we see it!

WELCOME to our cruise!!!! Yay, we are up another passenger and up to 6 pages!!! WOOHOOO!!! If you guys would like to participate in the FE, just send me a PM with the names and ages of everyone in your stateroom, some people like to personalize, if you don't want to include names, no worries, just ages and gender of kiddos.

Just kidding...if my brain was working, I would have noticed you already PM'ed me... I need sleep.

How was everyone's Thanksgiving??? I'm exhausted, another Black Friday in retail done for me. I feel like Thanksgiving was already a month ago, and I need a vacation, unfortunately, I've got alot more busy, busy, busy to go before that comes...

Hi!

I finally got to the website to book our excursions.

The one I'm most excited about (and I'm not even going) is the Teen Surfing Excursion on Cabo. We booked it for my 13 year old son for a Christmas gift. I know he'll have a great time after all sun, waves, girls and no parents, what could be better?! :yay: It is supervised by Disney Teen Staff so I know that he'll be in good hands.

We also booked Palo brunch on day two for Stephan and I, the only day I saw brunch available.

And the Whale Watching Photo trip, looked like the smallest of the whale watching boat trips. And I read that the smaller boats are more exciting and tend to be able to get closer to the whales without bothering them too much.

Can't hardly wait, 66 days and counting!!!

Anyone else booked theirs?

Danielle
