Feb 5th - 12th 2012 Mexican Riviera on the Disney Wonder

That surfing looks cool! We're doing Las Caletas in PV, and just hang out at the beach near Las Arcos in Cabo. You can get a cheap water taxi to take you there and pick you up later. Bring some snacks and drinks, and you are set for a few hours. That's what we did last time in Cabo.

Last time in PV, we had a taxi take us south for about 20 minutes to Mismaloya. Hung out all day on the beach in front of a little restaurant bar. Since we told them we were going to eat lunch and drink all day, they let us use their beach chairs and umbrella all day.

Spending way too much here reading up on all the tips and tricks and trying to figure out a way to get an upgrade from a guarantee 9C to a Verandah... Please Tinkerbell, sprinkle some Pixie Dust on us!!!

We've never done Disney, but have been to Cabo and PV, so feel free to ask some questions. We aren't afraid to hire a taxi and cruise for the day somewhere off the beaten path...

We might join you DanielleFromOttawa. We're still trying to decide what excursions would be best with our DD(2), while not being redundant with what is already on the ship. I'm interested in the Photo Whale Watching but DH is seriously concerned about me ruining my vaca with a bout of sea sickness (I'm pretty prone to motion sickness). Smaller crafts are so much more exciting, but rougher too. We might end up not doing excursions and exploring Cabo on foot. I wish she could do the dolphin experience.

Hawky7, went shopping at the SoCal branch of your store and thought of you on Black Friday I can't wait to start on my FE gifts!

Ohhhh if anyone needs plane tickets, check out Alaska airlines quick, smoking deals, like from where we live it is $100 round trip to Los Angeles, haven't gotten it under $200 in literally years!!!!

How many cabins do we have signed up for the FE? Small group under 10 would be great, nice to personalize some stuff, and not break the bank. Anymore than that, and all you are getting is nickel candy from walmart...

Maybe middle of the month. Doubt anyone will buy it just before Christmas, and the prices have jumped now that he KSF is gone.

That will give us 2 and a half months to plan accordingly. Oops, make that 1 and a half month. Sorry for trying to extend the painful wait!

We live in Alpine, east county. I work in downtown San Diego, so get to see mountain weather and coastal weather every day. Real tough.

We look forward to seeing all of you on this sailing! We signed up for this one while on our May 10, 2011 Alaskan cruise...we even got to preview our 11C inside stateroom since it was unoccupied on that sailing! This is our 3rd cruise, 3rd time on the Wonder...

We are joining the FE as well...our party is myself (39), DW Jackie (36), DD (9), and DS (6).

So far we have not booked any excursions, haven't even researched them yet...can't believe we're within the 90 days!

Yes, real tough. Lol... Ahhh I miss the Sun and Warmth of SoCal... I remember laughing so hard when it hit like 65 and everyone was out and about in their Parka jackets. Someday we'll get back down there! We lived in Chula Vista, not my favorite part of San Diego, but I work retail, and opened a new store down there at Otay, so for commuting, it was great. That was it. HAHAHA!

It's Sunday, weekend is half started! I was about to put half over, but that sounds depressing. We're going to go get our Christmas tree today (probably going fake for the first time ever!), and maybe go to Sea World for the day to see the snow. Yep, snow at Sea World!

Questions about FE gifts. Should we try and string out the giving of the gifts throughout the week, so everything isn't concentrated on the first few days? Will you assign days to give, or is that up to us? What is the average cost to spend for each cabin? Do we set limits? Is it anonymous?

So many questions...

Oops, I forgot too! WELCOME!!!!!!!!!!!! So excited to have more people on our Cruise!!! We are going to have a blast. Just throwing it out there, that any of you who have kids who are same or similar ages, can link your reservations together so you guys could eat dinner at the same time and table. We did this on our last cruise and it was sooo much fun to get to know everyone. So if anyone has kids the same age and thinks that be fun, just have one of you call DCL and have the other persons info, super easy!

Great idea hawks to link reservations! But not sure I've seen anyone with tween or young teen kids yet? Mine are 2 boys ages 10 and 13.
