It's official! We just got back from the August 19th Magic cruise, and we booked while onboard!!

Hi All,
I just booked the Feb 4 cruise and we are all excited. "we" consist of my husband,myself and our three kids, pj (turning 9 on cruise) haley (6) and travis(7) .I think the boys would love to email other kids their age. Unfortunately I'm having problems with my home computer and cannot get logged in dispite disabling cookies etc . Any other suggestions?

P.S. Bill, I see you'll be sailing in a mid-ship Cat. 3. We're on a waitlist specifically for one of those cabins for a cruise in 2008. We want one of those because I've been told that the mid-ship Cat 3s have the Murphy bed in the livingroom as opposed to in the master bedroom. Any chance we could get a quick tour of the cabin in February? We've only seen a handi-capped accessible Cat 3 in the back of the ship, and would love to see what the regular Cat 3s look like

Ok we are getting closer!! I think its like 152 days away (or something like that). I can't stand all this rain we are having in NJ!! It's very depressing and it already feels like summer is over! Tomorrow the kids go back to school! Hope everyone enjoyed their Labor Day now its back to reality!!

Thanks Bill! I just got a call from my travel agent this morning, asking me to verify the exact dates in 2008 that we want to be waitlisted for. We'll looking at August 16th, 2008, and I told her we're only interested in one of the mid-ship Cat 3 cabins. If we can't get that, we'll probably go with connecting Cat 6s.



I hope everyone's kids have a great school year this year! My younger son is starting his sophomore year of high school today, and my older son is starting his freshman year of college today!!

It seems like just yesterday I was putting them on the bus for kindergarten.

It was in the 40's here this morning on my way to work I had to turn the heat on in my van to take the chill out of the air. It's definitely the fall, that's for sure.

We (DW, DD8, DD7, and me) will be there for the February 4, 2007 Wonder! This is our second Land/Sea Cruise. We went in January 2006 and loved it, and just had to go back to do it again. We received the "Travel Kit" package from DCL today, and it was great to think that we're only a couple short months away from setting sail on the Wonder. We even booked the same stateroom (7064) so it will be like going "home" again. I'm looking forward to the Super Bowl festivities. We'll be at Poly for 5 days before the cruise and WL for two nights afterwards. See you all on board!

We received our Travel Kit today too. It was nice to see in the mail this afternoon. I liked how they listed the dates we can book Palo and excursions online, and the date for the final payment. I also liked the small little folders/brochures with ship-specific info in them. While I'm very familiar with the Magic and it's itineraries and schedules, I'm not yet familiar with the Wonder, so it'll be nice to browse through the info they sent today.

You will be our neighbor, Super Goof. We're in cabin #7068, and our friends are in cabin #7070.

We received our Travel Kit today too.

Our Travel Kit came Wednesday, too. This is a bit different from what we received for our last cruise in June 2005. I guess it gets you a little more excited to recieve it this way rather than a handful of brochures in an envelope.

I agree! And the portfolio type thing with the velcro enclosure is good for holding all of my paper work for this cruise, including my Disney resorts confirmation papers.

As I was backing out of the driveway this morning to go to work I glanced at the front of my house and saw a large USPS package leaning up against the front door. We always use our side door, so I didn't realize it had been there since yesterday. I pulled back in and inside the package was another Travel Kit, but this was sent by my travel agent, and he included an invoice as well as a Disney Cruise Line pen! I'm going to keep that pen at work here so I can be reminded about our upcoming cruise.

I guess there aren't as many DIS people cruising on the Wonder in early February!? I'm really surprised that we don't have very many people posting here on this thread, either. For the cruise that I just got back from (the August 19th Magic), we had a LOT of DISers who posted all the time, a few times a day even! LOL

But I know that this can be a busy time of year with back-to-school and such, so maybe later in the fall, and winter, more people will have time to post.

Ah well, at least WE are here!! LOL

Nice job! Another thing to consider adding would be how many of us are repeat cruisers...so we don't have to go to the trouble of reading a whopping four pages of posts!
