Feb 4, 2007 Wonder cruise

We are sad to be back and had a great time, despite Cloudy Castaway Cay. Nice to see the sun yesterday though.

Didn't realise bags had to be out by 11pm and our stateroom host nearly wasn't going to wait while we piled the bags out the door whilst trying to pack the clothes we were wearing that night.:rolleyes1 We then forgot to look in all the draws!

Too many people on board and I'm not good with remembering faces to recognise anyone but Phillip met Wesley in the club. Being new to the ship, we were very busy 'checking' everything out.

We frequented the Theatre and Wavebands to watch Michael Harrison (loved him). Those cast members are good at picking and tricking.:scared1: ......... I didn't quite have enough alcohol that night.

Well it's back to the grindstone. Ian has started compiling our DCL DVD video and disney music photo slide show to send home to our relatives, just to make them a teensy jealous.

Don't ask me how I remembered, but when you said you were from Florida but had an Aussie accent, somehow I knew it was you. We also saw Ian and Carina doing "I Just Can't Wait to be King" in Studio Sea. Do you feel as though you were being stalked now? You would know who I am, too, if I gave you one little clue...

Anyone else do anything noteworthy that we might remember you for? DS10, Alex, got to draw one of the winners' names at the Castaway Club reception on Wednesday afternoon. He waved frantically to get selected by Michael Harrison at two different shows, but was disappointed that he wasn't.

I finally convinced our very shy DD to get up and the song she picks is one she and Ian don't know and a stupid song for Karaoke. DD didn't want to sing a Hiliary Duff or Kylie Minogue:rolleyes1

I bet you were one of the John Travolta dudes. If so why didn't I win? You're probably the winner with the 'nice A...', :o Well, I suppose I should say it was nice for you to meet me, oops, sorry see us!
Next time, say hello, despite the embarrassment, we promise we won't bite! Sounds like we have a lot in common, perhaps.... or not....

Well, did anyone go to the bingo in the WD Theater? My DH was the man on stage before it started who checked the bingo balls! lol We didn't win but had fun. That Travis was crazy!

Tell him I said thanks for the clock!

Yes, that was me: John Travolta #2 (aka "Deer in the Headlights"). I can't tell you why you didn't win; it was the audience who voted, remember?

That was you he picked for? We were seated pretty close to you in AP, too.

Wow, is it hard to come home after a Disney trip. Even after 12 days of theme parks and the cruise, I wanted to stay. Of course, leaving 70+ degrees and coming home to 14 degrees might have something to do with it...

I can't beleive its over! :sad2: The four night cruise was way to short for our family so we are returning on the Magic Nov. 2008 for the 7 day. We had a great time. We never got to meet anyone from this board so I hope everyone had a great time. We spent three nights in Disney after the cruise and had wonderful weather. The memories are priceless and we are so looking forward to the next cruise although it seems so far away. Here is a picture of our family at pirate night just one week ago.

We actually did not upgrade either. Our room was fine without the balcony. We where never in the room, only to sleep and take a nap if possible and when our kids napped so did we!! I am so excited to be going back on the seven night since the 4 day was too short for our family. I am trying the Western this time and I will compare it to the Eastern which we loved!! We are going during Jersey week since at that time my daughter will be in kindergarten and my son in 2nd grade. It seems like so far away but plenty of time to plan.
Congratulations on joining DVC!! I joined last year after our cruise and our only regret is that we did not join sooner. We used points for our vacation this month but we will be paying cash for our next cruise and we are not sure if we will bank our points for next year or use them for some extra time before the cruise in Nov. 2008.
