We are going to be on our next cruise on Feb 4, 2007 on the Wonder. We will be staying on the Wonder the night before! Its a back to back cruise for us!!

We have 3 kids going on their 5th cruise, Kim 11, Dan 8, and Melanie 6.


If anyone wants to get their kids together with them via email so they can have instant friends onboard let me know. I'll set up a monitored email address for them.

I did this last year and it worked great, the kids had instant playmates as soon as they boarded.

Probably as it gets closer you'll get some replies for the Feb 1st cruise, as well as this one. A back-to-back cruise sounds like a lot of fun, imagine not having to get off the ship when everyone else does!!

Wow, I guess you really like cabin #8532!! This August will be our second Disney cruise, and we chose the same exact cabin that we cruised in during our August 2004 cruise, so I can understand liking a cabin and sticking with it. If it's available for this Feb '07 cruise, I'm sure we'd book it again.

Hello Everyone! It looks like we will be joining you too! Hey Bill! We where on the last cruise with you Feb 4-11 and attended the Disney meet in your room. Me (Jeanette), DH (Brian), Kelsey (3.11), and Logan (5) We where thinking about doing another Eastern on the Feb 3rd but my DS wants to go to Disney World too so we are thinking on doing this cruise and then staying in Disney after. Not very excited about doing the cruise first but I really would like to do the 4 night cruise over the 3 night which means Disney would have to be after. Well just wanted to say hello and everyone enjoy the summer!

Well I'm going for another job interview today! Whether I get a job before our August cruise (we'd rebook while onboard in August, for this cruise) or not will be the difference between us going on this cruise or not. I've been a stay-at-home-mom for the last 18+ years, so this is a big step for me. But DS18 is starting college this fall so it's about time to go back to work.

jblb: I grew up in New Jersey; central NJ in Sayreville. Bought my first house there, but then bought my second house at the shore, Toms River. I loved living there, just a 5 minute drive to the beach. I've been up here in Massachusetts for about 9 years now and I really love the town I live in, but I miss the Jersey Shore so much. I go to NJ several times a year though because most of my family still lives there. In fact, I was just there last week and we're going back down this weekend for a family party for my DS18's graduation party.

Also, we're planning on going to WDW for a few days BEFORE this cruise, then get on the ship on Sunday, cruise until Thursday, then fly home. Is there a reason why you have to do WDW after the cruise and not beforehand? I know doing WDW first cuts into 2 different weeks, is that the reason?

Anyway, once I get a job then this trip will be a definite. I'll post back once I get hired somewhere.

Hello Terry,

Yes I was born and raised in South Jersey and just love it here. The reason we can't go to Disney before is because my husband started a new job after our Feb 2006 cruise and only gets 1 week vac. So if we left any earlier then he would be away from work for more than a week. We own Disney Vacation Club so it doesn't matter how we schedule it because it's all on points. We plan on arriving on Feb 3rd that way if there is any snow storms we can make sure we won't miss the boat. Then we will do the cruise and after go to Disney till Sunday. Oh well I guess we will just see how it goes. Good Luck with your job search.

Although nobody here knows it, I also am booking a few days at WDW.

As soon as it opens we are going to stay at the Poly and I booked our flights out for the 11th in the evening.

I convinced them I was scatterbrained and booked the wrong return date. Maybe we can share a dinner one night.

That would be great! We will also be leaving on the 11th but I haven't booked the airfare yet because I want to leave out of Atlantic City on Spirit and they don't have the prices up yet. Hoping they will come out in the next week or so.

I had some of the companion passes we get with our credit card and had to use those before time ran out on them so I already have our US AIR tickets paid for (one less thing to think about!)

I think we are going to stay at the Villas at the Wilderness Lodge. I have to book 7 months out before we go. I just can't wait to go I was looking at pictures from our Feb. cruise. and we had such a great time.

We are using our Disney Vacation Club and our home resort is Saratoga Springs but I would like to stay at the Villa's at the Wilderness Lodge so we can book 11 months out at our home resort but 7 months out for the other vacation clubs. July 11th is when I can start booking for Disney World. I can book the cruise now but I am still waiting for airfare and hoping that it comes out in the next two weeks. I am leaving for vacation on July 14th to Lake George NY and would like to have everything arranged before I leave but somehow I don't think that's going to happen. That is great that you are doing a back to back. It will be so nice to see everyone getting off the ship while you get to stay on.

Hi everyone, and welcome Jrsy Boy!

Well it looks like this cruise is definite because I've been hired by a great company and I started this past Monday The job is going well, I'm actually enjoying it.

We'll be booking this cruise next month on our August 19th Magic cruise. Just my DH and I for this one, and we'll be traveling with another couple, too. She's also a DISer, hopefully she'll post here after we book.

Summer seems to be flying by and I am leaving for vacation this evening for Lake George NY. I am looking forward to it but its not Disney! It is really nice by Jersey shore standards. Let's just say I've paid a lot more and gotten a lot less in places like Seaside and Wildwood.

Anyone going to be at WDW BEFORE this cruise? We'll be flying down to Orlando on Thursday, Feb 1st, not sure where we'll be staying at though. We'll be flying back the day we get off the ship.

We'll be at WDW pre-cruise, also arriving on the 1st. We're staying at POFQ.

I know what you mean about the Jersey shore hotels. You pay for the location more than anything else, including ambiance. lol We've stayed a few times at a hotel in Wildwood Crest which is right ON the beach and every room is ocean-front. I love that hotel but it's definitely not the more luxurious place we've ever stayed, but it's clean and you just can't beat the location or the view.

POFQ is one of the resorts we'll be considering for our pre-cruise stay. If we stay at a moderate, it'll definitely be POFQ, but if we go for a deluxe it'll probably be AKL. Or WL. Or Polynesian. LOL We'll have to see how our finances look when it comes time to book the hotel.
