Am I the last to leave Saturday morning?? I'm gonna be sitting at the puter all alone.

Nope,not alone. I'll be here until at least Friday night, and possibly Saturday morning. We have an afternoon flight on Saturday. If we can't get on the am flight going stand-by, I'll stop in for a Hello before we go.

On Saturday we said we would try to another chat tomorrow at 8:00. I hope to make it, but I am not quite done packing yet. We went shopping for a few last minute things tonight and got home later than I expected. The kids are not done with homework yet

I know, little things thrill me. I just got off the phone with AirTran. I was a little confused about some contradictions in their flight change policy when you use frequent flyers. Also, I noticed that rewards seats had opened up on the early non-stop flight that weren't there earlier today.

Long story longer, they switched us to the earlier flight for no charge! Did I say ?

Now to call DVC in the am about those PPP tickets.

The computer at my hotel is blocking the boards. Not even the Air Force was that strict. Funny thing is, I can still PM. Go figure.

Anyway, I made it to the States. I have a scheduled overnight layover here, then catch my final flight Wednesday morning. I should be in Sacramento on schedule, unless something screwy happens between the east and west coast. I change planes in Denver. I hope the wather cooperates. Keep the pixie dust, and happy thoughts, comming, my friends.

Five more shopping days till we set sail.

Some people are just sweethearts. I chatted a bit with the Airtran ticket agent and told her how excited I was that she could switch the flight. I was glad we wouldn't have to wait at the airport at 5:30am without knowing we were on the flight until boarding and also we could go to the PPP. I also mentioned that we were going on the Disney Cruise. She noted that on our reservation and said to always tell them so they can get our luggage out to us promptly. Not sure that they don't already do that , but ok.

Airtran charges for prebooking your seats now. She offered to do that for $10, but the available paid seats were aisles in succesive rows. I told her I'd wait until the 24 hr window to see what they released b/c we really wanted to be together and DS still likes a window seat. I know, I talk too much, but she was genuinely happy she could help us out. Anyway, I just checked the res and she went ahead and booked our seats together without charging us, one by the window. I guess the Pixie Dust is flying around tonight.

I know I'm gushing about something fairly simple and silly, but it's helping us start our trip on a great note.

Did I happen to mention that I am freaking out with so much yet to do!! (And yet I am spending time checking all of your responses- well, I guess I did cut back from doing it 3-4 times a day to only 1x at night!)

So tomorrow it is.....I got alot done today, but still lots more to do.

Shawn- great to hear you are on U.S. turf! Good luck with the weather- we have a winter weather emergency here (IMO- it's not an "emergency") but the drift is so bad that it is a total white out. I'm sure all planes are grounded that fly through Chicago.

This should make all you last minute packers feel better---I don't even OWN some of the stuff I need to pack!!!! Was hoping to go shopping today (well, yesterday) but never made it past home,school,carpool,ballet,basketball practice- you get the picture. Oh well, "I'll think about that tomorrow". Ok, any movie buffs- name the movie and the character from my last quote. First correct answer gets to be first on CC. Yes, I'll hold everyone else back, so you'll just need to get past me!!

As it turns out, we're skipping the PPP on the 2nd. Just too much of a rush to get there early enough. I really wanted to stay closer to the port. Glenn booked something tonight-not sure where. We are going to the one on the 9th and have BBB booked prior to the party. Kids don't know about this. Working on some shirts tonight that say "Surprise, this is your ticket to fun. We're going to WDW". We'll just toss them to the kids Thurs. AM to get dressed. They're excited about possibly seeing the launch but will be bummed that we're headed home- but of course, we're not!

Holy Cow it is cold today!! What a great day to be leaving for Florida! There are a ton of schools closing because of the cold- it is just to dangerous for the kids to go outside. The wind chill is -40!! So far it look like my kids school is still open. I really hope they get to go- it will make it easier to get all my last minute things done. We leave for the airport around 2pm so I will try to check in 1 more time before then to say good-bye.
