4 days for us too!!! We leave Friday after school.

Now I just have to get through this week with 20 four year olds and keep my patience and stop day dreaming about The World! LOL

I don't know how I'll be ready in time! I spent the weekend doing homework (Yes, I'm back in school full time ), going to girl scout meetings, driving DS to march in parades, we rode in a parade Sat night ( I missed the chat again! ), etc...Now my house is a mess I HAVE to go shopping and start packing for 6 people! and did I mention I'm in school? I've got class until 9 tonight...
I need a vacation!

Good luck!!! I know how it is...my head is spinning right now. I seriously just stopped cleaning or working yesterday and just stood there in a stuper because it can be so overwhelming! I probably spent a total of a couple hours just walking from the kitchen to my office and just looking but not actually doing anything because I can't focus on one thing when ten other things are also right in front of me- not to mention that visions of Mickey are dancing around in my head- now how's that gonna help me?!?

Luckily, that vacation is just right around the corner...... We'll all be there soon, just relaxing the day away....

I came home to a visitor today!!! My cat brought a friend home to visit!!! It was totally funny. They were just sitting there....it reminded me of the kitty litter commercial. LOL

Quarterman6--Good Luck in school. I did my Masters Degree online and it was hard! We went to Disney in February 06 to celebrate. I graduated in January.

We leave Friday after school to go to Lafayette, but our plane does not leave till Saturday Morning if that makes you feel better Steph.

I got all my magnets and goodie bags finished and packed. So that is one thing off my list. Bret actually got his suitcase out last night and put some things in it! I was shocked! LOL

Four days and counting!!! This week is going to drag while next week is going to fly by.

I think I finally have everything under control. Magnets and goodie bags are done and packed. Our bags are packed. Just 1 more trip to Target for some last minute necessities and some last minute packing and we are done! I can't believe we leave in just 2 days!!! We are almost there! Can wait to meet you all!

You got me to count- between the 4 of us we are bringing 18 pairs of shoes! 5 pairs for me-2 dress shoes, 1 flip-flops, 1 tennis shoes, 1 watershoes. I really feel that is the bare minimum? We still have a suitcase full of shoes.

LOL! sorry, I didn't mean for you to count I got it down to just 3 pairs! flip flops, dressy type sandals (for palo/dinners), cute out shoes! oh, wait and the tennis shoes I will be wearing when we board...so that is actually 4 pairs

That's the one thing every trip that DH chirps at me about- too many shoes. But with three of of the four of us being female...what's a girl to do?

I think I'm going to stick to 3-4 pairs plus whatever we have on our feet when we leave.

Hi ladies,
Sammie-girl (thats DD4) and I are right there with ya on shoe thing! Good thing our computer is equipped with parental controls for the bad sites, but I think we need to add those darn shoe store sites. Don't know how she does it, but she can find shoes and will print pages and pages. At Christmas time, she printed on whatever paper was in the tray-all boots, different ones and then tacked them up on the fridge. We assumed it was just her way of amending her Santa List Can't imagine where she gets that from?

I do have a question on the subject-where are you finding the water shoes? What brand? I'm finding all kinds and not really sure what I want. Problem is, I'm not seeing them in the store- you guessed it- online! Any recommendations?

Checking my ever-present list and thought you guys might like to know what's playing on board...Enchanted, National Treasure 2Dan in Real Life ?, POC-end of world, Wild Hogs, Meet the Robinsons, Ratta-something??, Bridge to Terabithia. Game Plan, Underdog and drum roll please--Hannah Montana 3D!! Seems like every little girl in Mobile received advance purchase tickets for this show that comes out on 2/1. Mine would probably be interested, but with all the other activitiy, poor little old Miley Cyrus may be put on the back burner this time As I said, we've never cruised before, but this time, I'm thinking...we've got the best of both worlds!!!

It's official! I can finally say WE LEAVE TOMORROW!!!

Doc and family- I wish I could help you with the water shoes. We got ours at the end of the season clearance last fall. This time of year may be tough. I needed to get some because I heard the platform they have you stand on for the dolphin encounter is rough on the feet. Depending on what your plans are maybe you can get by without them? I bet you could get some at Ron Jon's if you wanted to wait till you got to Florida?

Time to start my LAST DAY of work!

I'm the same way! MAybe if I was sleeping better at night...I toss and turn trying to figure out which excursions, don't forget to pack..., etc

We are dealing with the same Hannah issues. We can't decide if we should go to Lafayette a little early on Friday Night and go see it in the theater and stay up wayyyyyy to late, or just buy tickets for the day we return and pray that we get back in time. Plane lands at 4:30 but show starts at 7:00. I am still hoping for the boat!!!

I did call them...they said most of the ones you listed. I did ask about Hannah and she was unsure. I might call again and see if I get a different person.

How can you live without Hannah!!!!
