FEB 3, 2008 ABROAD DISNEY WONDER--Who else??

Did anyone else buy or make up any clothing with the "I'm with the Krewe" logo that Tara found on Cafe Press? I bought a khaki colored hat on Cafe Press.

I am thinking that we should change the 3:00 meet place to the Promedade Lounge on Deck3 if everyone is okay with it. I was also thinking 2:45ish for those who would like to spend a little more time chatting before the 4:00 drill. There are chairs, a bar, places to run etc... Plus the Deck 10 location looked a little hard to navigate. ( I was just going by what I read....) What if you were on the wrong side and missed us totally!!! That would be a total shame! What if your kid jumped ship because they were looking over the rail and you were talking to me!!! That would really be a shame!

So what do you think? YES or NO or I DON"T CARE

I vote yes!

I don't care but my only concern is that if it is warm, the kids are going to want to be in the pool right away. I don't know if I will be able to talk them into going inside?

Do any of you listen to the Podcast? They called my name this week and I won something!!! I had to pick a number and they are going to announce what I won next week. I never win anything, I was shocked when I heard my name!

Update- I won a $25 disney gift certificate:thumbsup2

YOU DID!!! YEAH

I didn't buy anything...but we made a few door decoration with the sample picture.

I had a Tshirt made with the design in my avatar though. I thought it was pirate and louisiana together!

Make it sound like a big deal!!! Bigger than the Mickey Pool!!!

If they just won't say okay...just stop by at 3:30ish on the way back to the room to get the life jackets. I am sure someone will still be there.

:thumbsup2 that is fantastic!

Tara: Location/time change should be good w/me

We'll we had a great time at Disney and I got some really cool magnets for everyone! Looks like I will pass my stuff out either on the second or last day of cruise...

Who is going to take the spa tour? I am going to try and take it as they offer some discounts during it. We are taking DCL transportation to Port from MCO, so hopefully it will get us there before the spa tour starts:)

Brets cousin is moving to California this summer! We were planning on going to see them just so we could go to Disneyland. Bret won't go all the way to california just to see Disney. But he might go to see cousin and you! LOL
We will keep our finger on him. I know he would rather let me go alone than come with...so don't make promises you can't keep Steph!:rotfl:

Tara

Okay, Tara, next trip for you is Disneyland with good ol' disfriend, Steph:thumbsup2 That would be so much fun! I would love to go to Disneyland with another Disney fan! I am totally serious!!! plus you wanna come check out San Diego, right?:thumbsup2

CORRECTED!!! On our cruise last year, the meet was held in the Atrium (Capt. Mickey statue) at 3pm BEFORE the lifeboat drill (4pm). This worked out well IMHO.

I think I was told this is the typical meet location/time for DIS groups.

Isn't the sail-away party immediately after the lifeboat drill. I am a first timer and don't want to miss that. We are also early dinner so we would probably have to be getting ready after the party.

Just received travel documents- is that what they're called? Luggage tags, that sort of thing... Its really real now and I'm getting into panic mode. Not much packing done at all- thinking I need to shop first! I'm not good with the "new". I like the familier stuff. But, I keep telling myself to remember that first WDW trip when everything was new- nothing like that first "first" castle sighting! :yay:
Kind of wondering when it will get relaxing as I'm sort of in that "park commando mode" when you feel you have to do and see it all NOW! Pretty certain there will be other cruises in the future (heard about that addiction thing!) but for now, I'm feeling a little overwhelmed by the choices. Re-thinking what we've booked already (couples spa thing on sea day, just the banana boat ride on CC, and Atlantis room in Nassau). Did not book Palo, but sort of wish I booked a brunch now- just a little unsure how kids will do in the clubs-mainly DD4 and really in need of some good family time anyway). Don't really know what changes, if any, to make. Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Janet

I corrected my original post. I had to skim 75 pages of posts on that old thread. Yes, it's typically BEFORE the lifeboat drill.

Oh, yeah. Pick whatever meet time is best for everyone else. We should be fine with anything. If you see a family of 5 wandering around, looking lost, grab 'em- its probably us! :lmao:
