Great pictures, Tara! I love Christmas pictures sorry you have to work Friday I figured since I am flying across the States from Cali. to Fl. that we would tak on a few extra days to enjoy Disney World and my sis has never been so even better excuse

Pixieprincessmom: I am not sure if you need a hotel for precruise or after the cruise but I must say that I had a hard time finding a room! AKL is sold out the few days after our cruise as is POR, POFQ, and a few others...I as lucky to snag the last strandard room at the Beach Club Lots of Mardi Gras going on that week, I guess

I needed ressies for the Feb.1 and 2. I got All Star Movies. We are driving there on Fri. then doing the Pirate and Princess Party Sat night.

We're cruising on the Wonder Feb 3-7. We're so excited. It will be me, dh and our dd who's 3 1/2. This is our first cruise! So I can't wait to get more helpful tips and info!

I'd love to meet up w/ everyone.

We're in the process of planning a pre crusie land trip. Anyone staying at the Pop Century?

We were also considering sharing photopasses to make it more afforable if anyone is interested in that also!

We need to kinda figure out a game plan for our first meet. I have read some of the other trip reports and they seem to meet around 3:00 for an official DIS picture. (are we gonna wear anything special?)

I have never done a cruise before so I have no idea what to do after that. I have read a few Navigators and maybe we could meet for a beer/wine/martini tasting event or in one of the clubs one night.

Lets get the boards hopping again!!!! I miss seeing that email everyday saying that I have a post to read.

My 2 older kids will probably want to be in line to see Jack S. as soon as we get to MK. Last year we waited 45 minutes, but he was worth it. I hope to do more princess things this time with DD6. FYI - Jack Sparrow will also be available for photos on the ship as well as on Castaway Cay! Plenty of opportunities to meet him if the lines are too long at Disney World...there are hardley any lines on the cruise as he come out quite frequently and you never know who you will bump into in the halls of the ship (keep your camera ready at all times!!) we have had Captian Mickey dance with dd in the halls one time and bumped in Hook & Donald on our way to dinner at one of the restaurants Oh, and Snow White blew kisses to my little guy (5 years old) while on our way to see a movie in the Buena Vista theater on the ship he wasn't too thrilled about that

It is such a Magical cruise....I am so hooked on DCL

FYI - Jack Sparrow will also be available for photos on the ship as well as on Castaway Cay! This sound so amazing! I think I am developing an addiction and I haven't even been on a cruise yet!!! I have been so busy planning that I almost forgot DH's birthday (which is today). If I am not careful Christmas may be next!

The tastings do sound like fun. I have read somewhere that they did margarita tastings too? I don't know if they still do them but that is right up my alley!

Would anyone want to do some kind game or trade? I remember on one of my DCL cruises that we did a magnet exchange from each person's city. It was fun going arouond putting the magnets on the doors and coming back to our stateroom to find all the diffrent magnets we received...only thing is most would be from LA! and on another cruise we did like a secret Santa and left little presents on the Fish extenders that are located near the doors of each stateroom...just a thought The kids LOVE coming back to the rooms to find all the stuff on the Fish extenders.

Hmmm, I don't have one either but there is a metal type fish next to each stateroom that DCL uses to post invites for the teen clubs & invites to Castaway Cay party for Castaway Cay memebers (repeat cruisers)...I don't remember if it has a "clip" to hold stuff??? maybe...

Oh, we called the Secret Santa give exchange "secret Mickey" and we get together a list of who would like to participate and we could have one for the kids and adults, if anyone is interested. It was alot of fun but then again it was the longer 7 day cruise and I don't know if we are all gonna have a whole lot of time to do this on a 4 day as there is soooo much to do and see on the ship...even on the day 7day I ended up passing out my magnets at night! LOL!

We got our passports today!!!!! I am soooooo excited. We were not able to get them until Nov 26 and they came today Dec 7. That is really fast...and we didn't even pay to expidite them. Not even 2 weeks! WOW.

We are just one step closer to our trip! I am getting more excited everyday now.

That is incredible! We applied in March and didn't get them until July! They must really be getting their act together. Each step makes it that more real. I think that after Christmas the time is going to go really fast!

We made the tie-dyed tees 2 years ago and they were great! The colors look so good in pics. I may have to do some for this trip if I find the time. My DH doesn't mind wearing things like that on vacation. His has become DD 11 sleep shirt at home. If I can figure out how to post pics I'll post one of us in them.

I have not gotten a fish extender yet either. DD wanted a sewing machine for christmas (go figure!) so I am hoping that she can make one. It looks like mostly straight lines and my sis can help her.

Lets try to make decisions about gift exchange soon. That way we can get the after Christmas sales.

Let's do a poll as to what we want to do for secret stuff. We can even have two groups...one for just magnet and one for both. There are alot of us going.

I am up for both.

I am thinking about making us a real webpage for our cruise. It would be fun I think. I will work on it this weekend and let you all know.

My first picture post. I hope it worked. Looking at our tees I really may make some more. They are easy to make and the girls enjoyed it.
