FEB 3, 2008 ABROAD DISNEY WONDER--Who else??

That would be great but I'm pretty sure from the last cruise that they are very strict about ages...I remember that people tried to argue but Disney wouldn't budge...(which is a good policy I guess since I wouldn't want my 13 year old with 18 year old either if I had one!)

Yeah I was thinking about how the age groups seemed a little odd; 18yo with 25yo?! But then it occured to me, this is probably the very age range DCL assumes will NOT sail with them: over 18 is "too old" to still be going on family vacations, and before about 25 there is little chance you have a family and/or the disposable income to afford a cruise.

What do you all think of my theory?

I think your theory is probably pretty "on." I'd guess unless those ages are traveling with family, if they could afford it, Carnivel is probably the main cruise line for that age (cheaper, more party atmosphere from what I've heard).

Though I will say MY first cruise was when I was 23 for my honeymoon. We saved and saved. He saved for the earnest money for our first house and I saved for the cruise. And that's still how it goes today...him paying all the "real" bills and me planning the vacations!! I always tell him that I "pay" for the vacations with my money from working. I get alot of rolled eye looks here!

On a different topic, there could be lot of toothless wonders out there....DD6 has been wiggling away at two of hers.

I did want to tell any fellow "winos" about a carrier I found. It's available at http://www.builtny.com......but it is $25 there. I found it at a local store called "Tuesday Morning" for $15. It's 5mm thick neoprene. They sell different styles, sizes, etc.

Thanks for asking, and thaks for the hugs.

I'm busy training my replacement, and doing the volumes of paper work I need to leave. I can't say too much about my travel plans 'cause a security, but I can say I arive home sometime Wednesday the 30th. That gives me two whole days to get checked back in with my home unit, get ready to fly to Florida Saturday, and meet you all that Sunday.
