Sorry if this has been asked before I've been kind of MIA from here...
Does anyone know what is going on that weekend.. Most hotels are at capacity and i noticed the calendar shows the parks open til midnight both days. Thanks!

Disneyland is always open until midnight on weekends.

Not sure about hotels being booked up though?? Have you checked the anaheim convention calendar?

Every Friday and Saturday night in February (with the exception of the 6th), DL is scheduled to be open until midnight. This is pretty typical for the DL park hours calendar.

Maybe that's why it seems busy that weekend.

Yes, 40,000 is the number they are estimating for the REC convention. That's a pretty big one and does draw some Catholic teens to DLR.

I am attending a food expo (I forget the name at the moment) from March5-8 and they are estimating 50,000 or so. At least for me, I am coming on the 1st to get some Disney time in before the expo. Maybe some others are doing this as well.

Well, it would be a big surprise if the crowds are low and the weather is cool. After all, the Dis ladies are going to be there and we typically bring both crowds and heat!

The heat I'm ok with...the crowds on the other hand.....
I am sure it will be fine though. We always make it a point to make our trip mostly during the week. We'll be at the park on Sunday the first but the rest of it will be Mon-Fri.

Sure it has, it was for the weekends I checked in Jan before we went then. It is this weekend, it is the weekend after.....it is again in March. On Friday and Saturday at least, Sunday is normally 11.

I don't have idea and also want to know because some of our friends are going for their first time trip. Hopefully they will enjoy it.
