We were on the 5th Fantasy cruise too! We are going on the Alaskan cruise in September (clearly we are addicted to DCL). Any tips? We've only cruised the Caribbean up to now. It's fun having two cruises to look forward to!!

thanks everyone!! i am on hold with dcl now to try and fix some things, so i'm checking in on the DIS, lol! i'll come back and reply and post our info as soon as everything is squared away. thank you jaime for putting the spreadsheet together and posting (and subscribing!). it's a lot of work but so much fun to be so involved! let me know if things get big and crazy and you want some help.

On our last cruise, we all met up around 3 near the staircase to say hello and start the fun off with a huge group picture. This included kids and adults. Any interest in doing that?

Another thought...our last cruise group made a group logo. People used it to make T-shirts for the first day and other things like magnets. Anyone good at that? Otherwise I can ask some of the FB group graphics ladies to design a few and we can pick one. Any interest?

Hi. Our family is one of the ones cruising with bookite. This is our 2nd disney cruise yay! First one was to Alaska June 2013. We are getting super excited!

jaime, in the past when we've named our cruise. that was when we picked the "logo" to go with the "theme" and yes it was on lots of the FE stuff, magnets on doors and tshirts. love it!

we've been on cruises named "fantasy becomes reality" (the ship was in the background) and DIS Amigos Fiesta Cruise (mickey had on a sombrero). for some reason the alaskan one was a whole different animal and tho our group (of 7 staterooms) referred to it as our "Alaskan Wonder" cruise (on the Wonder, headed to alaska, lol!) it wasn't ever officially "named" for our DIS meet, like our other 2 were.

KarenMP59 were you on the Fantasy Becomes Reality cruise?

one thing we did one of the cruises was make lime green (the DCL color) silicone bracelets for everyone. it was SO fun to be able to identify other DIS members on the ship. it made it easy to strike up convos with them. we did it as part of our FE, but also made it an option for those not participating in FE, they just had to let us know.

I asked a graphics lady to start creating some logos.
She came up with a cute one that says Fun and Fancy Free on the Fantasy. I posted it on facebook page. She will create whatever. Anyone see it on the page? Thoughts? Changes?

I can't seem to post a photo on here yet. I'll keep trying. Maybe Shari can post it?

Also I like the bracelet idea. We did that on our last cruise.

why don't we take a week or two for people to submit ideas for names and then we can create a vote and once we've picked a name, your graphics person can use that as a starting point to come up with some logos? their work (as seen in your avatar) looks great!

p.s. still not quite finished with our details. played phone tag w/ disney today but all is well, just need to chat with the person to get our final info before i can share it here.

Anyone who would like to give a group name or logo, please respond. We will wait a week until June 17th. Then pass those names/ideas onto the graphic maker and see what ideas she can come up with. We can get a few options and then choose from those.

Since our itinerary includes San Juan, perhaps the graphic could have a touch of Spanish flair? I recall seeing cute graphics of Minnie in Spanish attire somewhere. Just a thought.

i don't have a creative bone in my body, but i LOVE having my cruises named so thought i'd throw some ideas in as well.

and adding in some San Juan "flair"

Booked this cruise this morning!! Ahhhh! I'm so excited I could burst!! This will be our third DCL cruise. We went on a 4-night on the Wonder, and a 4-night on the Dream. They were wonderful, but the extra nights will be awesome and I can't wait to see the Fantasy!

It will be myself, my DH and our 3 DDs (12, 10 and 7). I'd be up for participating in a FE if it wasn't too big. We did it on our last cruise and it was fun. There were about 25 cabins participating, which IMO, was a little too big and became overwhelming (both in bringing our gifts and in taking all of our new gifts home).

I think my next step is to find one of the links posted above to give our information, correct?
