Hey folks,

We are yet ANOTHER family from New Brunswick, Canada who will be joining you on this cruise.

This will be our third Disney cruise, exactly six years to the day after our first, which was also a 7-night Eastern. On that cruise we bought into DVC and the incentive gift was another 7-night cruise. So we booked a 7-night Western Double Dip for November 2009.

Our kids, 16 and 13 are experienced cruisers but the Vibe and Edge clubs will be new, as Dale, our 16 year old, was only 11 and in the Oceaneer Lab on the last one. Our daughter Sarah will be a year too young for Vibe, but it appears that there are a number of girls her age among the families on this thread.

Not sure if we will be participating in the FE but we'll see.

Looking forward to this cruise. I will also likely PM the other NB'ers and chat about flights and such.

This will be our 3rd disney cruise too but our first Eastern. We've not bought into DVC though..yet!

It'll be our 15 year-old daughter's first time in the vibe too. It looks like such a cool space.

Hello FE friends!!! It is getting close to the 90 day mark when we will be closing the list. (we will have another list for people who join after this date).
I have a couple of questions for you guys about how you want to handle the separation of the list. Also please let me know if you are planning on joining more than one group so I can start preparing for the separation.

1.) Leave the list alone 32 families is small enough
2.) Separate the list in half with 16 families in each group
3.) Separate the list into 3rds with approx. 11 families in each group

Our family (Grischow) is happy with whatever everyone chooses for the FE group. We have started to prepare gifts for the 32 families, and have very much enjoyed a large FE group on a previous cruise. Lots of fun goodies every day. But it that's too hard for other families, we are fine with that, too. Looking forward to sharing!

Even if the decsion is made to split up the group everyone will have the option of joining more than one group..... So prepare away!!!!

My family is going on the 2/28 cruise. FE is new to me, but this is something my family is excited about.
Please let me know how this works. Am I signed up by being on this thread? How do I know how many FEs to make?

Cruise Meet threads are doing just fine still managing meet and FE discussions right here on the DIS as they have since FE began (also here on the DIS).

FE organizers generally need to know how many people (adults/children) are participating in each cabin with child ages for age appropriate gift giving. Other information you would like to share such as names, allergies, favorite characters, etc. is up to you. Other personal information is not really necessary. Those organizing FEs typically ask for the information to be posted in the meet thread or sent to them via PM.

For those posting in this Cruise Meet thread to join a FE, if no one comes forward to organize a FE for this cruise, anyone can organize the FE right in this thread.

Hi everyone! My husband and I will be on the Fantasy on Feb 28 with our 2 boys, ages 5 and 3. We only booked in the last month, so I'm behind the 8 ball on FE. We'd love to join in, but are we too late? I don't have a Facebook account. Will that be a problem?

Also, anyone with similar aged kids? I've read many posts and haven't seen a lot of 5 and 3 year old.
