Feb 28, 2010 - 4 night Wonder Cruise

Sorry your not feeling well. Can you believe how hot it still is? We were over in Zellwood today for the Corn Maze and the van temp said it was 94 degrees. Of course being out there with a troop of girl scouts running through the corn felt like it was about 120 degrees...

oh my, I hope not - but thay may be a good thing (or bad) for those of us booked in cat 12 gty. I checked for a room for the 3-night cruise that leaves the Thursday we return and the lowest cabin available was a cat 5 . The cost was about $2000 more for our family of 4 for the 3 night then what we paid for the 4-night.

I hope you feel better soon!! Its cool here in PA - daytimes in the 60'S. I can't imagine doing a corn maze in that heat.

Your FE looks GREAT!! I need to get started on mine too. I can't decide on how I want it to look. Please tell me it's a "no sew project" It looks to good to be a no sew.

Rooms are coming up again. There are cat 5 & 6 still available. I am glad that we booked when we did. Maybe those of us in 12 gty will end up with nice upgrades. But if not, I will still be really glad to just be on the ship!

Yes - you can make your FE without sewing - that's how I made mine, using no sew glue - it came out great!!!

Hi all. We're on this cruise as well and I cannot wait! We did the "kids sail free" on a 3 day last spring and it was an amazing experience. My DS was just shy of 3 but was PTd and he loved the kids club I was just blown away by the place and thought it was so well run, clean and organized.

I hope he enjoys the kids club just as much this time as mommy and daddy sure enjoyed some alone adult time.

We booked cat 11. Last spring we booked 11 and got upgraded to a 9 but for the amount of time we spent in the room I wouldn't pay for it.

I'm not huge on the FE exchanges but just wanted to say "hi"

I finally got the stuff to make my Fe and I hope I don't screw it up, I'm going to have my mom help she knows how to sew. Me.. I'd rather buy something, I'm not good at sewing I just had a "Silpada" party to get more jewelery for the cruise. Yeah!! Has anyone else heard of Silpada? I looove their jewelery!! Is anyone dressing up for pirate night? I'm still looking for the right" Disign" for shirts and have not found one yet. Considering Caribbean dress instead? I saw a cute iron on at Michaels for Evie for Pirate night it says " aargh!! Wipe me booty!! I thought that was funnyI heard they'll be playing the new Disney movie "A Christmas Carol" when we cruise ...I can't wait to see it!

Hey fellow cruisers - where has everyone been? It's mighty quiet around here!! Guess everyone is busy making their FE's.

Our passports arrived yesterday - way cool - I want to use them NOW!!! Boy are the pictures they take awful - I look like a convict - hope they let me back in the country with that picture

We are getting excited here. The kids keep asking why I booked to cruise so long away. I guess we should have waited a little bit before we told them.

No FE making here yet. Okay, I am scared to start

I agree about the passport photos. Mine looks like I have an alien head. Even DH says that it looks nothing like me. I know the guy at Walgreens was having trouble getting the right dimensions for the photo, so I have to wonder if he stretched them a bit....

Hello everyone
I have started my FE and quickly screwed it up I veered from the instructions and thought " pockets don't REALLY need pleats" . Well, yes they do ..otherwise your not going to fit that much stuff in it. So I just have to redo the pockets, no biggie I'm almost done with Rogan's autograph book and her journal, now I'm thinking of shirts for pirate night. I finally found a glammed up pirate head . Carribean dress would be easier but not as fun.What are you all doing for pirate night?

I just checked the cruise and there are still rooms available starting at cat. 11. On another note, do you think that the water will be warm enough to snorkle at Castaway Cay? I was really hoping my granddaughter would be able to snorkle and if not, may change to a warmer time of year.

Disney is to release park hours today for February and March - woo hoo, now I can start planning our park days.
