Hi Everyone! My overactive porn filter at work blocked me from the DIS years ago and now...now it's blocked my back door in as well!:scared1::headache::rotfl: So I've been in DIS-withdrawal at work all week!:sad2:

Just checking in because...I want to see my ticker!!!!:rotfl:

Woo Hoo! 2 weeks to go!

That makes me giggle. Reread it again with your mind in a different place. :goodvibes:goodvibes:goodvibes

I have no idea, I've lost track as well! we have at least 72 in the FE group, plus several other groups that have posted in the past.

We are not participating in the FE group and 72 is a large group (which sounds like a lot of fun) and I'd love to meet all of you, but since we are travelling on the WDW bus from the resort we probably won't arrive until aprox. 1:30/2:00 at which time we'll race to the buffet before it ends. I hope I can remember to show up at the meet at 3:00, but I know from last cruises that I get caught up in the excitement of it all and don't remember until much later. Hope to meet up eventually! It's just me and my granddaughter. Please post if you guys have any other plans to meet.

We FINALLY had snow. Of course our 4 inches isn't anything compared to what some of you have had. But when you live close to the coast--4 inches is as bad as 45!! Our kids have had a blast playing in it. DS5 has been asking for snow since June of last year so we are glad he finally got his wish!! But it only makes us wish that the cruise would hurry up and get here!! :cheer2:

We'll try to be there as well. We did not participate in the FE, as this is our first family cruise & we wanted to watch & see how it works. But, we'll try to meet up at the pool. We are:

Ben (Bucky) - Dad
Diane (di) - Mom
Caroline (5)
Carson (3)

TWO MORE WEEKS! TWO MORE WEEKS! :-)

I have extra lime green ribbon - let me know if you need some :cutie:

Tammy

Thanks for the offer but it's a shopping challenge and a fashion challenge in one, right up my alley! :thumbsup2 Also it's something for me to hunt for to keep my mind off the countdown that isn't coming soon enough!

:wizard:I've been following the story on the boards regarding the Disney Magic staying overnight at Castaway Cay due to high winds. Everyone's been worrying about getting to the cruise terminal without weather delays, who thought to worry about the SHIP getting there on time to pick them up! (And let the current cruisers off to find their way home)

So we are still 14+ days out, I am happy we made the decision to drive instead of fly! :drive:

Also hoping all the cruisers effected by these delays find safe passage to their destinations! :wizard:

Who ever would of thought that winds could play that much into your cruise! Our local TV station is on the Wonder doing little info bits about the DCL, I wonder what they are going to do to advertise Castawy Cay now!

Watching the news on Friday morning when they were doing bits on the Science lab and the spa, they brought the people up to deck 9 or 10 and it was really windy! The spa girls stuff was getting blown away!

Certainly hope our cruise is a lot smoother!

Sorry to hear about your snow, but I'm glad your DS is happy  - hope it melts soon and that you didn't have any trouble with ice.

Oh my, one more thing to worry about -I'm already paranoid that its going to snow, now this - what else :confused3 - the weather in Orlando doesn't sound too great - I've been watching the 15-day forcast and it looks like its going to be chilly.

It's downright cold here! I think today's high was 42 degrees. I even pulled out my Land's End parka for the cookie booths today.:scared1: Tonight there is another freeze warning, which I guess I am not too worried about. The last freeze killed all my plants already.

My neighbor just returned home from a cruise to Cozmel & Belize and he said that the high temps were upper 60's lower 70's. I sure do hope that it warms up before we leave.

I saw the article about the Magic spending an extra day on Castaway Cay too. Does anyone know what DCL does for the people that will miss day(s) on their cruise?

Let's just re-schedule this cruise (leaving on the 28th) and make it for the week before Memorial Day? JUST KIDDING!!!!! :sad2::sad2:

I didn't think about wind either, I'm going to be excited just to have a few days alone with my DH. We take care of my 82 year old mother and she is wonderful, but sometimes it's nice to be the two of us. We are still very young at heart  (66 and 62) and we have a lot of living to do. :cloud9:

Angie, do you live in Orlando? I live near Atlanta and we got 4 inches of snow Friday and are expected to get 1-2 inches again tonight. This vacation can't come too early for me. We are driving to the port and staying over night on Saturday. Hope we have good driving weather because it will be a very long ride. Not as long as some, but longer than others.

Can't wait for the 27th............yea :cool1: :yay: :cheer2: :woohoo:

Ok Angie - that's just TOO cold - please start  dance to the weather gods for warmer weather and NO winds. Sorry to hear about your plants :sad1:
