Feb 28, 2010 - 4 night Wonder Cruise

;) I don't know if anyone else has noticed, but there will be a beautiful full moon up on Feb 28th! :goodvibes

:wizard:How is that for a perfect start to our cruise? :earsboy:

But you know what they say about a full moon.. it brings out the crazies! You all aren't going to freak out on me, are you? ;) ;)

I am sort of getting there. I ordered a bunch of tops for my DD but now realize she has no bottoms. :goodvibes

:scared1: That is a lot of snow!!!!:scared1:

My new suitcase came yesterday. It is a pretty good match to the one the airline destroyed.

I am so far away from packing it is funny. I do have a 30% off kohl's card that I want to use for some new clothes for me. I just need to make time to get there.:rotfl:

Tammy, you need to come down here early. I have tons of stuff I could give you to do to keep you busy!:lmao: I am making bookmarks for my DD's classes for Valentines Day and only have one of the girls classes done. I ran out of laminate so I need to go out for that after I pick the girls up from school. I also have 840 boxes of cookies to get sorted and picked up/delivered and finish getting ready for cookie booths this weekend. See I could use lots of help!:rotfl:

I hope the snow melts soon. The news is telling us that it will be cold all week due to the system up north, but I hope that you don't keep getting snow all week too.
FYI - I saw a commercial yesterday that Kohl's has their "cash back" sale over Presidents' weekend, where you get a $10 back for every $50 in purchases. I might check it out for DH this weekend.

We got about 6-8 inches of snow here, enough to fire up the snow blower. That is so cool about the full moon!!! I'm sure it will have no influence on me! :rolleyes1 ........:cool1::banana::woohoo::dancer::crazy:

We'll be hitting the road two weeks from tomorrow night. Erie, PA to Parkersburg, WV Friday night, Parkersburg to Jacksonville, FL on Saturday and from there to the port on Sunday. :drive::car: My Garmin and XM radio are wonderful things!!!:thumbsup2

Here in "Hotlanta" we are expected to get about an inch of snow tomorrow night. Farther south of us (Macon, GA) may get 3 inches. But this cruise can't come anytime too soon. I am sooooooo ready. I am reading all the lists I can get my hands on and checking them twice. :santa: hehehe Since it will only be my DH and me I am able to cross off lots of stuff that will make the list look like it is being worked really goods.

Hope everyone's snow melts and that flight plans will go on as planned. More later.........Martha in Georgia

Hi Everyone! I am a cruise newbie and will be on the 2/28 Wonder cruise with my DH, DD5, DS4, mom and dad. We are so looking forward to it. I've been reading the threads here for a while, but thought I should introduce myself.

Hello from Atlanta, my DH and I are newbie's too. This is our first cruise and we will be coming with just the two of us.

This sounds strange to welcome one newbie from another but glad y'all are going to join us. We are retired and are really looking forward to this trip.

Hope you don't get snowed in like the east coast. Look forward to seeing you. By the way, if you haven't read, I think several people are meeting at 3:00 PM at Mickey's Kiddie Pool to get to know each other. It has been suggested to wear something "lime green" to the meeting as a way of recognizing people from this dis board.

Awesome. I'm sure it will be so bright out over the ocean. Hopefully there is a clear sky.

Nice picture!!! My husband Amos and I are really looking forward to the cruise. I've mentioned in several other posts that this will be our "first" hopefully of more to come. We are planning on meeting at the Mickey, kiddie pool on Sunday at 3:00 PM. Lime green isn't my favorite color but I will sacrifice just this once, lolol...........

17 days and counting, Martha in Georgia

Lime green isn't my color either - I'm just planning on wearing a lime green ribbon pinned on my shirt!

That will be so cool - hoping for a clear night - that will make for some amazing pictures. Although I agree with the crazies coming out on full moon nights :scared1:

Thanks Tammy,

We have volunteered at a arts and crafts show September at Stone Mountain, GA (near Atlanta). It's called the Yellow Daisy Festival and we got lime green t-shirts to wear at our station. They are practically brand new..........so we will be able to get some use of them.

Looking forward to meeting everyone.........16 days.......yea:cool1: :rotfl2: :rotfl: :yay:  :dance3:

Tammy,

I've lost count of how many people are on this board. How many do you think will be meeting at 3:00 at the pool?

We are going to try and be there at 3:00. My sister, her family and my mother are all meeting us on the ship. So it depends on when they arrive. I know we will be on the ship as early as possible.

It is "supposed" to snow here tonight. :yay: We shall see. But we are gearing up for this trip. :yay:

I have no idea, I've lost track as well! we have at least 72 in the FE group, plus several other groups that have posted in the past.

If you are planning on attending please post (even if you posted in the past) and how many people are in your party and we can try to keep track. :lovestruc

Count us in for four. Still looking for lime green ribbon.

Brenna will be so excited - she can't wait to meet Anabel - they were so cute on the phone yesterday!!

I have extra lime green ribbon - let me know if you need some :cutie:
