Who's planning a Feb. 2016 trip?? I just started a countdown on my phone, so I am seriously excited already! :D I need to feel others' excitement as well! Speak up y'all! ;)

I will be meeting a friend for PHM and the. My family (DH, DS10, DS7, DD4) will join for 6 nights at either Bonnet Creek or POR (trying to decide if the extra space and kitchen is worth a little bit of "lost Magic" that you get on-site!

I am hoping to also be there next February for the Glass Slipper Challenge!! Im so excited, but trying not to make travel plans quite yet, since with registration who knows if I will even get in, lol. But I am still training for the half already, its nice to have a goal :)

Don't do it! Stay onsite! We did our first (and last) offsite visit in February five years ago! Never again!

Yes! Having a goal totally motivated me Hawkeyegirls, and right now picturing myself being at DW with those medals around my neck is great motivation, but you're right, these races sell out so fast it not guaranteed that I will get in!

Oh thanks for the perspective Upstate Mike! We are doing Universal for first time on this trip, so it's made me wonder if we should try off-site. Also DH has friends from work that do Disney much cheaper than we did it off-site and wants to try it that way. I think I might be too sad though!

You go girl !!!! :cheer2: Excited for you !!

I will be there in February. I have been home just over a month from a short visit and I am in withdrawal. Already excited for next year which hopefully will be a full week of Disney, a day at Universal, celebrating my daughters 18th birthday, and Glass Slipper Challenge!

You sound EXACTLY like me five years ago. Ok, so here is how it went down: We had gone for two consecutive years and thought "hmm...let's save some money...how bad could off-site be?" Now, , you have to understand, we are rope-droppers, park-hoppers, park-freaks who spend very little time at the resort, so we thought..."Heck...won't even notice we are staying off-site!" Well, we were wrong, wrong, wrong, and...wrong! It really, REALLY makes a difference if you crave the magic, which we did. We hated the feeling that we were "leaving" Disney everyday! We missed the busses...we missed the Disney Immersion...we missed the Disney WORLD feel! In the end, the savings was in no way worth it to us, hence the vow NEVER EVER OFF-SITE AGAIN.

I'm not saying onto to try, I just wish someone who was like us would have given us the heads up before we made the decision.

Happy Planning!

I've convinced by BFF to run the 10k during the princess half weekend! I need prayer and pixie dust to help me on my journey since I do not run! At all!! I'm also waiting to close on my DVC resale contract so it will be my first trip and we will be in Saratoga springs! I am so excited for this!!!

Our 2016 trip will begin on February 28th and sadly end on March 5th. I am hoping for a discount (free dining please) and we will probably stay at POR again. I did look at AOA or possibly CBR, but I always go back to POR.... any suggestions?

I'm in for 2/17-2/27 for a GSC solo trip! No idea where I'll be staying yet but I've started narrowing down restaurant choices, although I may end up with more QS dining than TS this time. Ah, who am I kidding? I love to be waited on. princess:

We're planning on Feb 1-6 at AoA!!! Just starting to seriously plan and am SO excited!!

We are going in Feb too! It will be our first time to WDW! Our dates are flexible at this point- my in-laws are renting a condo for the month and me, DH, DS2 and DS5 will fly down for a week. We are staying off the Disney resorts and I really want to try a little of everything while we're there (it may be our only trip!). Looking forward to following this thread and hearing others' plans!
