Feb 2016 - Dining Changes ~ Looks like RBT will start selling BBQ

If you’re visiting Disneyland park this February, you might want to try one of two new dining experiences.

River Belle Terrace will become a table-service location, serving lunch and dinner beginning February 10, 2016. On the menu, look for Southern barbecue staples like ribs, chicken and sustainable seafood alongside enticing starters and sides. Don’t worry, we haven’t forgotten dessert—new signature desserts will be available as well. Reservations for River Belle Terrace will be available soon, so stay tuned for more details.

Over in Frontierland, Rancho del Zocalo Restaurante will begin serving breakfast on February 2, 2016. Look for a few favorites from the old River Belle Terrace menu, like the famous Mickey Mouse pancakes, as well as new favorites like Mexican-inspired breakfast entrees. Breakfast will be available until 11:30 a.m. every morning, before switching to the lunch and dinner menu at noon.

I am excited about these changes...especially RDZ breakfast...I love Mexican inspired breakfasts!

I'm really happy about this!! The two times I tried RBT, the sandwich was terrible, dry and tasteless. And if the new menu BBQ items are from BTMBBQ I'm going to be doing cartwheels and the booty-shakin' happy dance!!

I don't eat breakfast in the park so the addition to Zocalo won't mean much to me, but I like the idea of a breakfast burrito or taco.

I'm hoping RBT will be much better with the new items! Had dinner there once and once was enough! LOL

I really hope Rancho will have a breakfast burrito or something similar to the tamale at Flo's!!!

This is fantastic news. This opens in the middle of our trip and I'll definitely be making reservations. We were bummed before about not having BBQ in the park with BTRBBQ closing. But this makes up for it! And excited to see the new offerigs at Rancho.

Although I'm a little disappointed that breakfast will no longer be served at RBT, I am very happy about the addition of some BBQ dishes. I'm sure it won't be the same (because I'm sure it won't be all-you-can-eat, which is what we truly love about Big Thunder Ranch BBQ), but hopefully it will be least resemble the BBQ that will be going away.

i am sad that RBT won't do breakfast anymore -- it was my fav place to sit in the morning and have a mickey pancake while some of the family rode POTC

Me, too, that was our breakfast place after we had knocked out a few e ticket attractions in the morning. I've never even been in Rancho del Zocalo. Is there adequate seating there like at RBT?

I would say there is actually more seating. Some of it is in an enclosed, covered area (not quite indoors), the rest is in an open area. You can also sit right by the end of the BTMRR and watch the riders come in to the station.

Super stoked about RDZ breakfast!! I love Mexican inspired breakfast as well so that is awesome.
