We just booked a Land/Sea vacation starting Feb 23, 2006, 4 days on the cruise. I did a search on weather in Feb, and it looks dicey. This is a once in a lifetime trip for us. I know there are no guarantees, but would it be smarter for us to change our dates to April or May? Is this late enough in Feb to avoid those rough seas and cold weather? I really really want to play at Castaway Cay, and let my kids make great memories. Thanks for any advice. :sunny: :sunny:

I've cruised Disney twice in February, and the weather has always been warm and wonderful. The ship has never missed a port, and the water has been beautiful.

We've had such good luck with February that we are going for our 3rd Disney cruise in 3 days!!

My very first Disney Cruise was at the end of February 2000. The weather was beautiful! 80's each day, sunny and perfect! Good luck!

Our honeymoon cruise was the last week of February last year. Weather was fine when it needed to be. The only bad weather was some rain late afternoon of our day at sea.

But even then it wasn't bad. They just kept driving around it all afternoon, and when it came time for everybody to go inside and get ready for the early dinner or early show, they just made a hard turn and drove right through it. But they waited until it wouldn't ruin everybody's day and force them back inside.

So now Disney controls the weather. Creepy, but thank you..

Thanks, that is great news. I will keep the cruise in Feb. We have a great cabin and it is the low season in price. I will be posting more questions in the future, I am sure!! :earsboy: :cool1:
