Is FEA worthwhile for adults only?

I hate to use up a FP and time for something that's more for kids / families with kids.

TIA

I personally was unimpressed with it, but there's others that absolutely love it. I think you'll get a debated response.

We are two adults with no children who rode it today with a FP!
My fiancé and I weren't able to go on FEA this summer because our EPCOT day was the day BEFORE it opened. Oops.
So for this trip, we knew the only way to get to ride it was to have a FP because we knew it wouldn't be worth waiting 50+minutes. Yes, we weren't able to book FPs for Soarin or Test Track....but we rope dropped Soarin and waited 20 minutes and were able to get a Test Track late evening as our fourth FP.
Was it worth it? Yes and no. It was great to be on a new ride, something we had never done before....and it was a really cute way to represent Frozen which I have no shame in admitting is one of my favs. Did it leave me wanting to do it again? Not in the slightest. I'm glad I got it out of my system and I'm pretty sure I won't ride it again unless it was literally a walk on. Not because it was horrible, it just isn't really that exciting. Once you've done it once, you don't really need to do it again.
So if you're a fan of Frozen, at least give it a try. But if you really could care less about the movie and the songs and the characters, definitely not worth it.

We (two adults, one tween) will be FPing it this September, but only because it's new to us. We plan to do what the PP said and rope drop Soarin and try to get a fourth FP for TT later in the evening.

We used a fast pass for it. We don't enjoy Soarin, so we didn't need the fast pass for that.

It was on our arrival day, we unloaded the car, rode the monorail to Epcot and got on the ride.

We enjoyed it. I don't know that I would be upset if we can't get a fast pass for our next trip, but the ride was fun.

Absolutely!!!

I personally loved the ride and my teenagers and I rode it 3 times on our trip!

No. We FP it today and were unimpressed, even with kids. It is almost like the old Norwegian ride (Malstrom - Sp?), expect for the Frozen characters in a few spots and some Frozen music. Not worth a two hour wait, nor worth a FP. A FP is much better spent on either Soarin' or TT, in my opinion. (FYI TT has been having a lot of issues...we had to be escorted out of it mid-ride on Saturday, and it was down for quite a while this AM...not sure it is worth the risk of FPing at the moment.)

I don't think so. I would ride Soarin' twice before I would use a FP on FEA. We did it once with FP during our 13 day trip-we road Soarin' 8 times and I still can't wait to do it again. I don't feel the need to ever ride FEA again.

We have three Epcot days planned for our upcoming trip and we are only getting FP for FEA on one of those days. For us, it's just a once-per-trip ride and never worth waiting in line.

It was maelstrom with different props and a new sound track.

Well...uh...I hate to be Captain Obvious, but that's because it is Maelstrom with different props and a new sound track. Whether you like it or not is a different story.

To answer OP question, yes, I think it's worth a FP+ for adults only. I've only been on it once, but can't wait to see it again to pick up on things I missed the first time.

Totally agree with this assessment!

My opinion? Yes, just once so that you can experience it. I personally liked the queue more than the attraction itself. It left a lot to be desired.

It's kind of a one and done for me but my DH likes it so I'll get a FP for it.

I love this ride, and I don't understand people's negative feelings about it. With so many virtual 3D rides coming out, I applaud Disney for doing a good old fashioned dark ride, and doing it well. And I do not have young children. I would say, if you enjoyed the movie, you will enjoy the ride, although that doesn't seem to be the case. That being said, I was unable to get a FP when we went last October and we were able to easily ropedrop this ride one morning and also able to get it as a 4th FP one evening.
