We went on a DVC members cruise and got a lot of stuff, as there were 5 of us. What does everyone think about re-gifting a few items, such as DVC cruise drink tumblers (unused, still in wrappers). We are giving other stuff too (WDW pins + hand made Mickey item)?

I would love to receive your "regift" DVC items. I am not sure how others would feel but for me it would be that you were sharing with our family your previous DVC cruise. :)

I received DVC notebook with pen during my last FE exchange and it's one of the only items use regularly. I think it's a great idea.

Personally, I feel like it would be weird. We are not members, so why would I want items that said member? The items that DVC gives out are always nice though.

I apologise in advance if I come off elitist at all with this following post, I really don't intend to at all! I think it's a great idea if it's just the standard DVC logo as it's also a good tool to get people interested in DVC :) not such a great idea if the items say "member" on it.... as a paying member I will admit I get a little annoyed when non-members have member branded merchandise (like the hats, backpacks, magnets etc - see below for a little elaboration)

I've found it strange that at the DVC seminars, designed to try and get people to join, they give out magnets that say "DVC member" on it. On my last cruise a couple of non-member friends went to a session and then proudly put their magnet on their stateroom door (no they didn't sign up).

If the tumblers are the small ones, with the blue lids, then those are still being given out freely at the info sessions (as of Feb 2016). I wouldn't really want one of those since they are so readily available on the ship anyway - member or not. But you do what you do, its the thought that should matter, not the swag that you get.
