FE Gift Question

Quick question - someone posted a pic of some cute votive candles they had gotten as FE gifts a few years ago. So I made some cute scented Mickey candles in little shot glass size holders for my upcoming FE group.

But then I noticed in reviewing my cruise documents that candles are on the prohibited list, so I'm thinking that mine (which are in little individual organza bags) will be confiscated when I board. Does anyone know if they let FE gift candles slide (since it's clear that I'm not bringing them to burn)? Or should I just leave these at home?

No candles means no candles. As to whether they will actually see/find them - it's a crap shoot. But I'd be worried that someone receiving them might think it would be nice to have candlelight in their room (not knowing that they aren't supposed to do that). I wouldn't even bring them, if it were me.

That's an excellent point - I wouldn't want anyone to get in trouble on my account.

You could also attach a note to them stating the rules and telling everyone to not light them on board. It's not like a lot of people carry matches with them on board. Just my $.02
