FD: Aside from rumors, will there be an announcement prior?

I'm just wondering if they officially announce FD prior to the booking start date (for Visa holders, since I am one). If they don't, would it be right after midnight the day of the booking start date or anytime during the day? Thanks!

They'll announce the package a few days ahead of time. If memory serves, last year it was announced around 4/1 and the Disney Visa booking period started around 4/4, and the general public code opened about 4-5 days later. Then, the code was active for a couple of months - you had until mid-June to book the deal.

So yes, you'll get advance notice - you won't have to compulsively check your email or the DIS (unless you just want to ) to make sure you don't miss it.

I would think Disney Visa holders could
book starting the 7th? If 10th is true?
Thus less than two weeks (9 days)
Each day that goes by without another rumor is not good IMO.
Last year on 3/16th all was known (dates etc.) via rumor!
Someone probably would have leaked it by now !
People enjoy cracking the news or rumor first!
I find it hard to believe that nothing has leaked
We are now 13 days past last years rumor date....
